AN Monday - theme - most used polish - OPI Mod About You

Today's theme is to use your most used polish. Believe it or not mine is pink OPI Mod About You (so not a pink girl). I must use it a lot in nail art as it's the first polish I've had to buy a second bottle of, not including black or white. So since it was pink I decided to go girly with some bling. I used a to be released Grace-full Nail Polish Silver for the crescent glitter and added the little pink stars and diamentes. I actually so like this one, maybe all this nail art is turning me into a more girly girl :)

Hope you're having a wonderful day, Tx

OPI Neon - You Are so Outta Lime

Good morning :). I love a good neon so when I heard OPI were doing some I was excited and purchased the green as soon as I could. I'm sorry to say that when it arrived it didn't live up to my expectations. It is a nice green polish and I will get wear out of it, but to me it's not neon. Application was a tiny bit streaky and it finishes with a matte finish like neon polishes should but it's just not there for me. In my books China Glaze have the neon market hands down and so far no one has come close to challenge China Glaze for the title. This did apply well even with the streaky first layer but I don't think I'll bother with the rest of the collection :(

I used a England Merlin for the glitter and the black is Cate Ruby Midnight.

Now I'm off to hunt down the rest of the China Glaze Sunsational neons I'm missing!

have a wonderful Sunday, Tx

Bright and Quirky nail design - dots and Zig Zag

I want to call these circus nails as they are quirky and fun but really it's just me playing around with colours. If you're a windows user you may recognise this palette as Iris available in Word and Publisher. The orange is OPI Toucan DO It If You Try, the green is butter London Jaded Jack, the blue is Essie Butler Please! and the off white is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. I like the bright colours together and I'm really enjoying using different colour palettes on my nails :)

Have a fabulous relaxing Sunday, Tx.

NOTD OPI Ski Teal We Drop and Solitaire Skittlette

Here's what I'm wearing today. I've only just bought OPI Ski Teal We Drop and I just love it. It's the perfect deep dark teal and has a gorgeous creme finish. I paired it in this look with OPI Solitaire a white based liquid sand with silver shimmer. I stamped with moyou Pro Plate 10 and China Glaze Awaken. I love this look, and the polishes, I'm not sure I'll want to take it off :). It's perfect for a winters day.

Yay for Friday! Tx

OPI Copacababies - Mini Pack review

Hello :) Hope you've had a great Friday and are ready for the weekend!! Today I have the cute little
OPI Copacababies - Mini Pack to share with you. These little minis are great, perfect for travelling or ideal if you know you won't go through big bottle of polish. The Copacababies are from the Brazil collection. Brazil by OPI brings the colours of tropical rainforests and warm sandy beaches to nails and toes for 2014. The cremes applied beautifully in two coats and I am wearing a coat of top coat.

The first I have to show you is AmazOn....AmazOFF. It's the perfect deep teal polish creme.

The second little beauty is my personal favourite from the whole collection it's Where did Suzi's Man-go? It's a great bright but not too bright orange creme.

The third mini is Kiss Me I'm Brazilian! A pretty medium pink creme.

And last but not least is Next Stop Bikini Zone. This is a duochrome, I am wearing 3 coats with no base coat and the colour shift was subtle, worn over black would probably make the shift more visible. OPI describes  "an amethyst-toned pewter that suits just about everyone". The formula was great which made application easy.

Below is 3 designs I've done wearing 3 of these colours.

The full Brazil collection and the   OPI Copacababies - Mini Pack are available  in selected MYER, David Jones stores and selected salons nationally.

RRP $19.95 – All shades
RRP $24.95 - Brazil Beach Sandies Liquid Sand Mini Pack

OPI I Sing In Color skittlette

Hi! I'm so in love with vampy colours and I Sing in Color is the ultimate of a dark vampy red. It's so red you can only see hints of the red color but ultimately it looks dark brown/black. I decided to team it with gold and a pretty Emily de Molly stamping design. The gold on my pinkie is Bella Belle Golden Helm. I think wearing dark vampy colours is one of the best things about the cold weather, as well as scarves - random I know but I love a nice warm scarf :)

Enjoy your day, Tx

Muppets Most Wanted by OPI - Kermit Me To Speak and Let's Do Anything We Want! swatches and review

OPI announces the launch of eight new limited edition nail lacquers inspired by Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted. With an all-star cast including Kermit the Frog, Constantine, Ricky Gervais,
Miss Piggy, Ty Burrell, Tina Fey and the whole Muppet gang, this family comedy is directed by James Bobin and written by Bobin and Nicholas Stoller.

Today I have two of these polishes to share with you, I adored the Muppets when I was growing up so I was super excited to swatch these for you. I have to say that both look so much nicer on the nail than they did in the bottle! I love it when that happens :)

Firstly is Kermit Me To Speak, Kermit was always my favourite <3. This polish is a super pretty duochrome that shifts from a dusty pink to a gold green and in certain lights a taupey brown appears. I couldn't stop moving my fingers around to watch the colours and while I'm not a pink lover this just works. Application was easy and I am wearing two coats.

Here you can see the pink and the change at the cuticle to green/gold

a glimpse of the taupey brown

The second polish I have to share is Let's Do Anything We Want! This is a dusty pink and white matte glitter, there is small pink and white glitter and matte white squares. The glitter payoff is great and application was easy. I am wearing one coat over OPI Sparrow Me the Drama and in the last photo over OPI Don't Bossa Nova me Around.

Muppets Most Wanted by OPI is Available now in selected MYER, David Jones stores and selected salons nationally.
RRP $19.95 – All shades
RRP $24.95 – Mini Pack
RRP $24.95 – Full size duo pack

OPI Amazon...Amazoff - X nail design

I love this gorgeous teal from OPI's Brazil collection named Amazon...Amazoff. It's a pretty deep teal with a hint of shimmer. To top off the look I used Bella Belle Golden Helm and taped off areas before applying a coat of Amazon...Amazoff. I love the X design and that it adds a nice pop rather than having plain nails.

Have a fabulous Friday, Tx

OPI Gwen Stefani 4am review

I really love the finish on this polish, OPI call it satin and it's like a glorious matte. It has a slight silver shimmer running through it that is more visible in the light. The formula was excellent and the colour built up nicely. I am wearing two coats with no top coat. Drying time was great.  4am is a super easy to use matte polish that looks stunning with little effort. Just because it's a Stefani polish I felt it needed the silver studs for a pop and wow factor. I love it!

Easter Water Colour Nail Art with OPI Sheer Tints

I love this look and it was so easy to create thanks to OPI Sheer tints. I simply did a base colour of white and swiped randomly with OPI Be Magentale with Me (pink), OPI I’m Never Amberrassed (yellow), OPI I Can Teal You Like Me (teal) and OPI Don’t Violet Me Down (purple). I made sure to over lap some strokes to add to the colours, as say yellow over blue creates a green look. I then stamped the Easter print by Bunny Nails using the decal method (you can google it) as I can't stamp straight. I finished with a pastel stud from eBay. I love the softness of the colours and it was super easy to do. The sheer tints are thicker than I thought they would be, I expected a thin top coat type formula but they are more jelly like than that. I think they are a must have for any collection as the possibilities are endless for how you could use them.

Have a great day Tx
