Celestial Cosmetics St Patrick's Day duo - Shamrock Shine and Blarney Blush

I have Celestial Cosmetics St Patrick's Day duo to share with you today. The dup is available at Celestial Cosmetics for $9.50 each or $17 for the duo. The first is Shamrock Shine. This is the ultimate mint green. Quite often most pastel polishes can be ridiculous to apply. They are streaky and the number of coats you need to make it fully opaque is ridiculous. Shamrock Shine blows them all out of the water. The first coat was virtually streak free and the second was opaque and evened out beautifully. It's a MUST for any mint green fan - the colour is just superb. So in love ♥

The second of the dup is a gorgeous glitter topper Blarney Blush. As a glitter topper it has a clear base and is full of gorgeous green and silver glitters, some holo, in squares, circles and hexes in big and small sizes.The colours compliment the creme Shamrock Shine and you can chose to apply the topper as thin or thick as you would like. The application was easy and dry time great.

Happy St Patrick's Day

Happy St Patrick's Day! What's not to love about a day that celebrates the Irish, Guinness and green! I think there is no accent better than an Irish one :)

I wanted to do a simple classic look for St Pat's day. The base colour is by an Australian Indie Pretty Serious called Blue Gums on Boxing Day. It is a stunning emerald green with blue shimmer that is gorgeous. It was super easy to apply, I used 3 coats here but I could have gotten away with 2. I then taped the tip diagonally and used Zoya Gilty for a gold accent. To finish the look I added 4 rhinestone hearts to make a shamrock. Very simple but I think very effective.

A fun look for St Pat's Day. I've enjoyed exploring my green polishes :) I knew I had to use OPI Jade is the new black, somewhere as it's just so pretty. So for this look I used

I have some exciting challenges to do in the next couple of days so come back and see how I go trying to do a Disney Princess look. I know not really something that I associate with myself but I think it will be fun!

Cult Nails - Coveted with Shamrocks

Another St Patrick's Day look. This green is from the fabulous Cult Nails and is called Coveted. I am so impressed with the four Cult Nails polishes I have tried this week, I may have a new favourite brand.

Coveted just like the other Cult Nails colour applied like a dream. The first coat is always patchy and streaky but add the second coat and it's perfect. It is a deep deep emerald green jelly that reflects the light and shines brighter. It has silver shards of glitter throughout, which with the jelly formula show as green and micro green shimmer. It is stunning.

For a subtle St Pat's look I stamped shamrocks with Konad green. I love how subtle it is!
