Miss Ashleigh - Deja Blue swatches and review

I've been in love with this polish since the first photo was released for a sneak peek. It is a glorious intense royal blue with scattered holo throughout. It looks great in the shade and comes alive in the sun, with loads of sparkle. The formula was wonderful, as is my thing I used three thin coats on these swatches. The first coat is a little sheer but don't panic as it builds up with the second coat, into a gorgeous vibrant colour. Dry time was great and I am wearing a top coat which didn't dull the sparkles at all. Then I had to add some nail art, so I stamped with EDM04 and placed small silver dots on my index and pinkie. I'm in love with this polish! To grab one for yourself visit Miss Ashleigh at her website and keep up to date with all the news from Miss Ashleigh on her Facebook page. All Miss Ashleigh products are Australian made with a 5 Free formula.

I can't wait to share the other Miss Ashleigh polishes I have to review with you all!

These polishes were sent to me for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Please note computer monitors may vary in colour display.

Arcane Lacquer - Infinity Skittlette

I picked up some gorgeous polishes from Arcane Lacquer's post Christmas sale. Today I have Infinity to show you, it's a fabulous cobalt blue micro glitter. In a matching jelly base it was simple to apply and I am wearing three thin coats on my index and itty bitty pinkie nails. I love this polish, you already know I'm a huge micro glitter fan, so that added with the depth of colour and how Infinity sparkles like crazy has made me a huge fan of this polish. I know a full swatch would have been great but I like to mix it up too much and had to add something different. My middle finger is my absolute favourite silver glitter combo, I use one coat of Zoya Trixie and two thin coats of a England Merlin. Merlin is just an amazing glitter that sparkles intensely and always has me looking at my fingers. My ring finger is Zoya Tallulah, a gorgeous cobalt blue. I know my nails aren't nubs to many of you and I'm not complaining too much but please pinkie grow some more and catch up to the others :). I need a little more length in them all to pose them how I like too, but am hoping to stay a little shorter than normal this time around. In an ideal world I'd love to give almond shape a try but think they would break too often on me :(.

Hope you're having a great week, Tx.

Winter Nature - Crumpet's Nail Tarts Christmas Challenge

When in doubt why not join another Christmas challenge :). I did Crumpet's challenge last year and loved it so I was very happy to see it again this year. For the Winter Nature theme I've done a base of China Glaze Electric Beat with a thin layer of China Glaze Fairy Dust for the all important sparkle. The dots, snow and trees are done with Essie Borrowed and Blue, my favourite light blue polish. I like how it turned out but couldn't stop singing Blue Christmas without you... the whole way through!

I hope you're enjoying all the Christmas nails, Tx.

Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Bottle of Infinite Stars

I really want to call this Twinkle twinkle little star but it's correct name is Bottle if Infinite Stars. In a beautiful rich blue jelly base this polish is packed with stars (of course) and hex glitter. It was incredibly easy to apply and there was no fishing for glitter. I absolutely love this and while I'm not a huge fan of glitter shapes the stars are just right in this polish. Here I have used two coats without a base colour and finished off with HK girl top coat. I am really enjoying showing you our Aussie Indie polishes!

Stay safe, Tx

Emily de Molly - Blue Prediction

I'm participating in Ozember, where we will try to wear only Aussie Indies for the month. I may sneak in a couple of Zoyas as I really want to get more swatched, but it will be a month mainly of Indies. Today I have the gorgeous Blue Prediction by Emily de Molly. In a bright bright almost neon blue base this one is a stunner! The glitters in sky blue silver and metallic blue compliment the colour perfectly. It was a breeze to apply with no fishing for glitter. I am wearing two coats with top coat. This will definitely see a lot of use in the summer months ahead.

We had a long weekend and beautiful weather, hope you've enjoyed your day wherever you are, Tx

Zoya - Dream

Another Zoya to share today, this one is from their current collection and is simply amazeballs! The whole Zoya Holiday 2013 Zenith collection is something special and I can't wait for the rest of the collection to arrive. Zoya dream is an amazing regal blue, packed full of scattered holo it is very much like Aurora, Storm and Blaze from last year's Holiday Collection. It applied beautifully and I have used two coats. It looks great in the photos but it is 100% prettier in person. The camera just can't capture the amazing sparkles that capture the light. I am in love!

Have a fabulous Sunday, Tx.

Celestial Cosmetics - Sons of Anarchy - Nomad, Crow Eater and Pentzburg Beer

Today the Sons of Anarchy Collection is available for you to buy!!

Head over to Celestial Cosmetics to buy them for yourself now!

I had to share the last of the swatches the jelly glitters. This gorgeous red one is called Nomad. Nicki explains a Nomad -
"Is a club member who does not belong to any specific charter, yet has privileges in all charters.  As the name implies, the Nomads will go anywhere to take care of business and is know to be very dangerous.
Thinking of the danger side of this group, I have created a red jelly with cherry red hex and dots with burgundy micro glitter."

This polish is gorgeous and here I am wearing it over Zoya Sooki. The micro glitter and large circles make it a stand out and it adds a real wow factor to your nails. The colour is sublime. There was a little fishing for glitter but Nicki has corrected this before making the collection available of you. I personally just love this colour, it's a true red and left no staining!! Super important when wearing red. Nomads is available at $9.95

This is Crow Eater and as Nicki describes a Crow eater is "A female who hangs around or sleeps with members of SAMCRO.  I have made a midnight blue jelly for these ladies with ocean blue hex and dots with dark blue micro glitter". Again the colour!! It is gorgeous, this blue is just amazing! The large circles and micro glitter give the polish depth. I have layered two coats here over Zoya Tallulah. Again there was some fishing for the larger pieces but this problem has been fixed as well as it can be. Remember large glitter will always sink, it's gravity so I recommended turning upside down any polish that has large glitter in it for as long as possible before use. Crow Eater is $9.95 and you are sure to be delighted.

Lastly in this glitter trio is Pentzburg Beer. Nicki tells that Pentzburg beer is "The fictional beer drunk by the club members.  Represented by a yellow/gold jelly with gold dots of various sizes and micro gold holo glitter". I tried two techniques with this one and I honestly love them both.  For the first 2 photos I layered the polish over Zoya Goldie and the last 3 I used 2 coats of the polish on it's own. This is truly a unique polish and sure to have you staring at your nails all day. The sheer look has visible nail line that I'm not a huge fan of but with this polish it works. Pentzburg Beer is $9.95.

These polishes were provided for review, this does not change the way I write about them. Nicki is also one of those amazing creators that is more than happy to take feedback and correct anything before it is made available to you.

Zoya Tallulah

Today's blue polish is a beauty! Tallulah from Zoya is one of the best blues I've ever seen. It's vibrant and bright and not like any other blue I own. It's close to butter London Scouse but lighter. It was a breeze to apply and I just love it. Then because I'm not good at leaving a polish plain I added the rose stamp from Messy Mansion, some polka dots and a silver pinkie. It reminds me a lot of Cadbury Roses box of chocolates. I'm not sure if they available world wide but the colour and the rose just make me think of Cadbury Roses. I am trying to work through and swatch all my Zoyas, as I just love them but I keep adding some form of nail art to them. This look still shows the beautiful blue so I think I can count it as swatched :)

Thank goodness it's Friday, hope you all have a fabulous day.

Emily de Molly - Turbulence

I'll let the photos do the talking today. Spencer had his little operation yesterday and is a bit sore and sorry for himself. He doesn't like Mum leaving him for long. This is two coats of Turbulence over a deep blue base colour, topped with HK Girl top coat.

It's just WOW!!!
