Sea Siren Cosmetics - Sealicious Hand, Nail & Foot Skincare Range Review

Get prepared to take yourself on an Enchanting Journey of the mind, body and spirit with your own at home spa experience with the full size haul of sealicious booty.  Pamper those shipwrecked hands, nails and feet in the comfort of your own home, in your own time, with a powerful combination of natural ingredients from the ocean and earth to promote a wave of change! Walk the Plank, Miss the Boat or Get Onboard!

I've been lucky enough to have been reviewing this collection for a few months. As with any new skin care product I like time to see how it works for me. All of the products are Australian made, not tested on animals and Vegan friendly. You can buy them as a pack, in sets with polish or individually.

First up is the Nail and cuticle oil - I found the container a little hard to use as it didn't allow me to just apply to my cuticles but rather had to place some on my hand and rub in. The oil itself is great, non offensive smell, not too long for soak in time and the most important part was it worked well on keeping my cuticles in great condition.

This second product is the Hand and Nail cream - this is my favourite from the pack and one I will always be keeping on hand. It has a refreshing but not over powering citrus scent. The pump pack was easy to use and the cream soaked in quickly but still left my hands feeling baby smooth. Definitely my new favourite hand cream and believe me in changing polish everyday these products become very important to the upkeep of hands, cuticles and nails.

Next is the foot and hand mask. I found this product a real treat for both my feet and hands. My feet in particular get the least amount of love so they have improved so much in using these products. This mask really did improve my irritated skin on my feet. It also left my hands feeling gorgeous. The mask tightens as it dries and you leave it on for 10 minutes - absolute heaven for my feet but I found it a little difficult to keep my hands still for 10 minutes. I'm just one of those people that is always fiddling with something. I would recommend this product especially to those whose feet require some TLC as mine did.

This is the hand and foot scrub. It has a spearmint smell and the first time I put it on my hands I was a little worried I'd grabbed a toothpaste instead. May not make sense to most but I do have a toothpaste in my nail care kit as it helps stains. Anyway the particles in the scrub are fine and not large and chunky like so many others. I particularly liked this on my feet as some of the larger scrubs don't feel as nice on the more sensitive areas of your feet. It absolutely did it's job and for me it was great that it was for feet and hands as my hands do receive regular scrubs but it's just not something I get around to doing to my feet. I had horrible dead skin on my feet and this scrub worked well at removing it and leaving both my hands and feet still moisturised. I did have a little issue getting it out of the bottle but found rolling it between my hands to warm it before use made it easier to pour.

Lastly is the foot cream and this comes a very close second to the hand cream for me. I have irritated skin on my feet as I said and this cream was so soothing and heavenly. I found myself using it more regularly than I thought I would. Especially on those days where you have been on your feet all day, a rub with this cream and your feet feel soothed and lovely.

I hope you enjoyed this look at a great range of Australian made products, I recommend spoiling yourself and trying some out for yourself, you won't regret it :)

Sea Siren Cosmetics - Sailaway Heather

This is the last of the new releases from Sea Siren Cosmetics and it's an extra special one. Not only is it a gorgeous neon pink colour as stated below 10% of sales will go to charity. The first coat was streaky as most neons are. I am wearing three thin coats and the colour is just wow! I do have little visible nail line but it's only noticeable in certain lights.

Sea Siren Cosmetics - 6 New Shades from Blackbeard's Booty

I'm excited to show you 6 new cremes from Sea Siren Cosmetics. Cremes are my absolute favourite finish in a nail polish, I love the glossy finish on it's own but then they offer so many other possibilities. You can use a matte top coat and have a matte look, you can use a holographic top coat and easily have a holo look polish and you can also use them again and again in many forms of nail art. I buy cremes the most as to me they are the best value for money. Now onto these new gorgeous shades from Blackbeard's Booty.

Sea Siren is cruelty free and vegan friendly and have a 5 free formula. You can can find out all the news on Sea Siren Cosmetics on their Facebook page and browse the polishes and purchase them through the Sea Siren website. The first is Pirate's Blood - it is a rich ox blood red that is heavily pigmented. This makes the polish almost a one coater, I am wearing two to ensure full coverage but you could get away with one. The formula was excellent with quick dry time and it had a gorgeous glossy finish. I did add one coat of top coat for protection. I also loved that this red caused no staining on the cuticles or nail. It is a fabulous quality polish that applied easily and looks beautiful.

This second beauty is Buccaneer. The colour is glorious in a richly pigmented magenta. Again the polish could be a one coater with careful application but I have used two thin coats. Application was simple and the polish evened out on it's own perfectly. Again there was no issue with staining and dry time was quick. It really is everything that you could want in a creme polish.

The third new release is Coral Atoll. This is a neon polish that is brighter than I could get the photos to show, the colour is right, it is a gorgeous coral colour leaning more towards pink but it is brighter than photos show. It dries with a matte finish as neons do and dry time was great. As with most neons the first coat was a little streaky and I am wearing three coats to build full opacity of the polish. I have added one coat of top coat to produce the glossy look. It's a really bright fun polish.

Release number four is a colour that needs to be a staple in all polish collections. Sea Fog is a soft light grey that is soft and feminine and still grey :). Grey isn't a colour you'd associate with being soft or feminine but Sea Siren have found the perfect light shade that is both. Application was again a pleasure, the first coat was opaque which I just love! I am wearing two thin coats to ensure full coverage.

New release number five is my favourite, can you guess why? Yes it's green :) When I first saw Sea Moss I thought it was going to be another army green but when I applied it this beautiful pea green showed on my nails. I absolutely love it, it's not the usual shade of green you see in a creme polish. The formula was richly pigmented and again opaque in the first coat. Application was a breeze and dry time was quick. I am wearing two thin coats and one coat of top coat.

Lastly is this magnificent blue named Ultramarine. From the bottles I thought this would be my favourite and it is a beautiful shade of blue but was just pipped at the post by the green. Again the formula is of fantastic quality, richly pigmented and so easy to apply. It is richly pigmented and basically opaque in the first coat. I am wearing two thin coats and one coat of top coat.

All of these cremes are of the highest quality and you won't be disappointed in adding them to your stash.

Sea Siren Cosmetics - Mermaid Tails. Enchanted and Great Barrier Reef - swatches and review

Mermaid Tails is another pretty green polish by Sea Siren Cosmetics. In a sage green, it shifts a little in the light, the above and below photos were taken in shade and the second one down below is in the sun. I am wearing 3 thin coats and the formula was easy to use. It does leave some brush strokes, so careful application is required to minimise the strokes.

This glitter topper is named Enchanted. It has a clear base with gold and black hexes in a couple of different sizes. It was very easy to use and there was no fishing for any of the glitter. I am wearing one dabbed coat over Mermaid Tails. This topper could be worn over any colour polish for a great look.

Lastly is the glitter topper Great Barrier Reef. In a clear base this topper is packed with gorgeous jade green, royal blue and s nice little glitter that shifts from pink to red. I love these colours together and it adds a great pop of colour when applied over a plain colour base. I am wearing one dabbed coat over Sea Siren Jealousea. It was simple to use and there was no fishing for glitter.

Sea Siren Cosmetics - Mystical Atlantis review

I'm going to have a green-teal week, leading into St Patrick's day is the perfect excuse for me to have a week of designs in my favourite colour. I've even left some swatches for this week, so grab your shamrock and let's enjoy a week of green!!

First cab off the rank is this pretty shimmer from Sea Siren Cosmetics. It's a very pretty green that shifts to teal with light and movement. The first coat was a little streaky but the second coat fixed it completely. I am wearing 3 thin coats but you could easily get away with two. There are some brush strokes visible but they aren't as noticeable as they appear in some photos. It's a great green shimmer and the teal shift makes it just that little bit different.
