Powder Perfect present an Indie Extravaganza Volume 2

The second volume of the Indie Extravaganza is releasing this morning the 8th November. The brain child of Jacinta from Powder Perfect this extravaganza will include fifteen polishes in total from Australian Indie brands. Each volume will include five brands with a polish created as their 'signature' polish. This is the second Volume.

This second volume will be on sale on at Powder Perfect website. Each volume of 5 polishes is RRP $50 plus shipping as normal - This Volume will be limited to 20 sets released to the public

The first polish is from Shades of Phoenix and is Triton. I adore the colour of this crelly as it's a gorgeous bright blue - a little bit duller than photos show but still a gorgeous colour. There are blue and white glitter in hexes and triangles. It applied perfectly and I am wearing three thin coats with top coat.

The second offering is from one of my favourites Hollish Nails and is Office Party. This subtle glitter crelly is a grey crelly with just the right amount of bright coloured glitter. I am wearing three thin coats with top coat and the formula was great.

Number three is from Peita's Polish and is named Flying Trapeze. It has a hot pink jelly base with small bright pieces of glitter throughout. It has a shimmer running through out. I am wearing three coats with top coat and I had no problems with the formula.

Number 4 is my favourite - this polish makes my heart sing. From Two Birds Lacquer this is Popcorn. I adore this colour it's so pretty and looks great with my skin tone. To me I love the amount of green that is in the yellow, it's just perfect for summer. In the crelly base is teeny black micro and some larger white hexes. It applied like a breeze and I know I will get a lot of wear from this one.

Last but definitely not least is PrettyPots Polish - Secrets of Her Majesty. I am terribly sorry I didn't get any sun shine shots but the weather and my health have been against me. From the way the holo shows inside I'm sure it's just incredible outside. It's a pretty purple a tad darker than my photos came out. Application was simple with two coats and top coat.

Peita's Polish Razzamatz

Razzamatz is a gorgeous glitter topper packed full of teal and fuchsia glitters in varying sizes. I am wearing one dabbed coat over top of a pretty teal by Zoya called Akyra. Razzamatz is the perfect blend of teal and fuchsia and adds a gorgeous sparkle to the fingertips.  The formula was excellent and I had no problems with application. As the glitters are small they sit beautifully on the nail and one coat of top coat is all that is needed to have a nice smooth finish.

Mint Green and Pink Valentine's Day nail design

If you've been around awhile you know my favourite colour is mint green, and that even though I love the colour it always gives me lobster hands :(. Sometimes I just think too bad and this was one of those occasions. I also love mint green and pink together, a marriage made in heaven. The divine mint green in this look is Miss Ashleigh's A Pastel Exper-mint. The pink is OPI Sparrow Me the Drama. My ring finger has a custom polish that Peita's Polish made for me as is the gorgeous mint green glitter.

Hope you're having a fabulous week, Tx.

Pastel Valentine's Day Nails

If you've been reading here awhile you would know I'm a huge pastels fan and that I adore green. I love pink and green together and knew that's what I'd want for my Valentine's Day mani. So I started looking for what I'd pictured in my head as wanting. I couldn't find it anywhere until Peita of Peita's Polish came to my rescue and offered to custom make what I was after. She was an absolute star and my polishes came out exactly as I was picturing them. On my ring finger is Theresa's Heart (squee a little to have my very own polish!) I wanted a creamy mint green base with pink glitter and hearts. I'm not a huge pink fan and a lot of Indie Valentine polishes were very pink. Peita did a fabulous job of working in baby pink and candy pink hearts, with square glitter into my polish. I fo course just LOVE it! She also made the mint green glitter you will see below on my thumb. I'd searched high ad low for a mint green glitter and am beyond delighted with what Peita came up with. Make sure you visit her store for more amazing polishes.

Right down to the nitty gritty

Pointer and pinkie - Mod about You - Opi
Middle - Re-fresh mint - China Glaze
Ring - Theresa's Heart by Peita
The love hearts are Re-fresh mint and Rainbow Honey Be Mine.
I stamped with Admire by China Glaze.

Above photo taken with phone hence the colour difference.

Hoping you all have a fabulous Valentine's Day!
