Peita's Polish Razzamatz

Razzamatz is a gorgeous glitter topper packed full of teal and fuchsia glitters in varying sizes. I am wearing one dabbed coat over top of a pretty teal by Zoya called Akyra. Razzamatz is the perfect blend of teal and fuchsia and adds a gorgeous sparkle to the fingertips.  The formula was excellent and I had no problems with application. As the glitters are small they sit beautifully on the nail and one coat of top coat is all that is needed to have a nice smooth finish.

Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day Nail Design

In Australia, three women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer every day. It could be you, your friend, your partner, your sister, your mum, your gran or your daughter.

There is no early detection test for ovarian cancer and the Pap test does not detect the disease.

Each year in Australia around 1400 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer and more than 1000 will die from the disease.

Today is Teal Ribbon day, a day to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and help find a cause. you can purchase teal ribbon products through the Ovarian cancer Australia website.

For this look I used the gorgeous Kester Black Laguna for the teal and Kester Black French White, the best white polish I've used yet! Reviews on both coming in the next couple of days. I used tape to create the chevron shape. 

Please help support and raise awareness of this important cause.

piCture pOlish - Marine dotticure

I've done a dotticure today featuring the amazing Aussie brand piCture pOlish and one of their gorgeous cremes Marine. It is the perfect teal colour and the formula is fantastic and allows easy application. I decided to do my ring finger in white with black, silver and marine dots and a England Merlin silver glitter on my pinkie. It's a fun look that is incredibly easy to achieve.

a England Galahad and the moonbeams..

I'm so in love with a England and so pleased that this amazing brand is now so readily available in Australia. I may have been buying up a little lot :). Today I have the super amazing Galahad, a gorgeous creme finish in a soft dusty teal. It applied like a dream and is just the prettiest colour. I own quite a few teals but the soft dusty leanings of this colour make it unique to my collection. I used and the moonbeams... on my pinkie and I love it :). It's nice to have the pinkie as an accent nail for a change. It took 4 light coats to reach opaqueness. I then stamped my ring finger using a pueen plate and China Glaze Passion. I loved this look but luckily there were more a Englands waiting in my untried pile that I wasn't too sad to take it off. It's definitely going to be having a lot of use in the future. If you haven't tried a England you really should, the formula on every polish I've tried so far is just perfect!

So I haven't totally lost my mind, though I'm feeling so tired it's a possibility. For some reason blogger didn't publish my full post yesterday so it read ridiculously. I'll go back and fix it now, grrr at blogger. EmilydeMolly - Oceanic Forces

Wow! I simply adore this polish. This is by the fabulous EmilydeMolly and is the sister to the incredibly popular Cosmic Forces. I love Cosmic Forces but this one Oceanic Forces is far more 'me', it's an incredibly beautiful teal base with turquoise large round and hex glitters. I had no problems using the large round glitter, they came out easily on the brush and the polish applied easily. It is simply stunning in real life!! The above photo is the most colour accurate one I took, in some of the below shots it looks blue, but it is most definitely a deep teal.

Zoya Akyra and Peacock Feathers

Today I've used one of my favourite Zoya polishes Akyra, it's stunning in a beautiful teal colour with it's simple application what more could you ask for? :)

I recently purchased the Winstonia nail art stamping plate set found here. I have to say they are my favourite plates yet. Gorgeous unique designs and so easy to use. Here I've stamped using the peacock feather on plate 108 and the intricate detail came out perfectly so many times. I used China Glaze Passion for the gold stamping, which is one of my favourite golds to stamp with. I love the colours together and who doesn't love a peacock feather?

 I'm not completely happy with my placement but with the lack of sleep I've had with our gorgeous sick puppy I'm just pleased I managed to get them on my nails :) 

Here's the culprit for my lack of sleep on one of his feeling better days. I think he's worth losing sleep over :)
