Halloween Skittlette - orange and black

I'm back with another black and orange design, earlier in the week I couldn't choose whether to do this one or the one with stripes and dots I did do. So now I got to try this one out. The black is the super black from Celestial Cosmetics Apocalypse that is a one coater. The orange is butter London Sunbaker and the glitter is Grace-full Nail Polish - Spicy available soon. I liked my design earlier in the week and really like this one too, this one is a little more classic looking.

Hope your weekend is going well, Tx

Ombre Blue Zigzag Nails

When I got my green set of ombre cremes made, I also got a blue set. I love them and believe it or not but the light colour behind the zigzags is the most gorgeous just just blue polish, it's fantastic. I used my decals from Nail Vinyls again to make the zigzags and filled in the gaps using my ombre set with a mail art brush. I love the final design with these glorious blues :)

Have a fantastic weekend, Tx.

Zigzag nails inspired by Washi tape

I was inspired again this time by the set of washi tapes below. They look so good together I had to try it out. Unfortunately I didn't have the 'right' grey, it's uncanny in all my polishes I only own two greys! For this look I painted my index, ring and pinkie in a white base colour. Then I did my middle finger with a base of Zoya Dove. I used decals for the zigzags and painted over the decals. On my index in Zoya Darcy and my ring nail with Essie Naughty Nautical. The stripes were also decals and one of my dotting tools for the dots.

Have a fabulous weekend, Tx

Lemon and multi colour Zig Zags

Good morning :) I'm really not a lemon/yellow person, but this polish from Lime Crime has won my heart. Crima Da Limon is the perfect pastel yellow, not too soft but not too bold. I wanted to try the technique I used on multi coloured stripes on the zig zag pattern. It worked just as well and I love the freedom it will give in future designs. Zig Zags are nice with just the two colours but with extra colours they create a whole other look. The glitter on my ring finger is a England Merlin and I used Zoya Dove for the grey.

To create this look you can follow this tutorial and replace the straights vinyl decals for zig zag ones :)

Stay safe, Tx.

Bright and Quirky nail design - dots and Zig Zag

I want to call these circus nails as they are quirky and fun but really it's just me playing around with colours. If you're a windows user you may recognise this palette as Iris available in Word and Publisher. The orange is OPI Toucan DO It If You Try, the green is butter London Jaded Jack, the blue is Essie Butler Please! and the off white is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. I like the bright colours together and I'm really enjoying using different colour palettes on my nails :)

Have a fabulous relaxing Sunday, Tx.

Aussie Nails Monday - theme - recreate a mani someone else in AN has done this year - Neon zigzag nails

This week's theme was lots of fun, we have so many talented ladies in our group that the decision of which one to do was hard. I chose to take inspiration from the talented Tracy @oliviajade19 on Instagram. I used different colours and added a matte top. I'm in love with the matte look right now :). I used Kester Black French White for my base and filled in the zigzags with China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy (orange), Orly Neon Heat (pink), China Glaze I'm with the Lifeguard (green), China Glaze Towel Boy Toy (blue) and Miss Ashleigh And It Was All Yellow. I hope you like the final result as much as I do :)

Powder Perfect Fading Tapestry chevron

Hello :) Today I decided to share with you one of my favourite polishes from Powder Perfect Fading Tapestry from the Abandoned Mansion collection. Fading Tapestry is a really nice brick red with orange under tones. It is a scattered holo with tiny gold flecks throughout. It was easy to build up opacity and I am wearing two coats. I used Powder Perfect Jace on my ring finger as a base for the chevron/zigzag, and the decal/stickers I always use to create the zig zag. This colour is unique to my collection and I love it on my nails as it's very flattering to my skin tone.

Hope your week is going well, Tx.

Celestial Cosmetics The Pink Planet design

I love a zigzag pattern there is just something so right about them. For this design I used Celestial Cosmetics The Pink Planet on my pointer and pinky fingers. This is a pretty jelly that's red with pink undertones and small silver and rose hexes. I used Kester Black French White for the white and the black is Zoya Raven.

Simple but pretty, have a good day, Tx

Femme Fatale Cosmetics Gentlemen's Scuffle

Today I have a gorgeous new holo from Femme Fatale Cosmetics to share with you. Unfortunately we haven't had sun so I can't show you the full holo power. Gentlemen's Scuffle is a gorgeous teal with a lighter green shimmer. I love holos with shimmer as they look just as good out of the sun as they do in it. The colour of this polish is really beautiful. I am wearing two coats with one coat of top coat. Application was super easy and I know I'm going to get a lot of wear from this polish.

I added a zig zag pattern using a England Encore Margot as the base colour.

Have a great day, Tx

Easter Chick Nail Art

and pastels are back again :). I free handed the little chick on and unfortunately my freehand skills aren't dramatically improving but he's still kind of cute. I did a zigzag with the Stick Me Nails decals again and some simple polka dots to finish it off. The purple I used is butter London Mollycoddled, the green is piCture pOlish Honey Dew, the peach is piCture pOlish Peaches n Cream and the blue is Cate Ruby Sky. Hope you're enjoying the Easter designs :(

Have a fabulous Friday! Tx

Easter Nail art with Stick Me Nails Chevron stickers - review

Another Easter look and I have a great product to share with you. Stick Me Nails  have fabulous, easy to use chevron nail decals. To get the perfect chevron/zigzag you just need to paint a base colour on your nails. Allow it to dry fully as if you attempt the second step to soon it can ruin your base colour. You then carefully place the nail decals either with your fingers or I find tweezers easier to use. Make sure the press along the whole decal to ensure there are gaps that will cause seepage under the decal. You then just paint the colour or colours you want to use in the gaps. Once painted remove the decals with tweezers as son as you can so that the paint isn't too dry as that will cause your design to lift. Finish it off with a top coat and you too can have perfect chevrons as easy as that.

You can purchase Stick Me Nails chevron decals at their etsy store and they ship worldwide.

The colours I used in this design are OPI Rumple's Wiggin (lilac), Lime Crime Crima de Lemon (lemon), Powder Perfect Polish Tristan (mint green), Kester Black Fairy Floss (pink) and piCture pOlish Peaches n'cream (peach).

This product was sent to me for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Please note computer monitors may vary in colour display.

Zoya Kieko Chevron - ZigZag

Feels like I haven't done a chevron in awhile so I did one to show off the gorgeous Zoya Kieko. This is such a beautiful colour not pink, not quite purple but a nice in between colour. It's a gorgeous rich creme that applies perfectly. I am wearing China Glaze I'm not Lion on my index and pinkie.

Hope you're having a great week, Tx

Coloured Chevron

Today I'm sharing my semi fail coloured chevron/zigzag. It's more smudged and uneven as I would have liked but I like the overall design enough to share with you. It was terribly fiddly as I used sticker guides, as well as time consuming as I had to wait for colour to dry. It's not something I'm going to do again in a hurry :). While not officially an ozember mani piCture pOlish at least is an Aussie Indie so there is one in there.

Hope you all have a relaxing weekend, Tx

Review - Ozotic Sugar 901

The sugar collection is a selection of polishes in the Ozotic range that are toppers. They add that little extra to a plain nail polish. Today I am sharing Ozotic 901 with you and four different ways to use it. Firstly above I have used two coats of 901 over OPI Mod About YOU, It's gives a fabulous finish with depth that feels feminine and soft. Even though it is technically a topper I wanted to try it as a chevron/zigzag. Usually in nail art chevron/zigzags are in stand out colours but I love just how subtle the use of a topper makes the chevron/zigzag look. It just looks gorgeous and very girly while still showcasing the super trendy chevron/zigzag look.

For the first photo below I used 901 on it's own. This is 3 coats and it's a pretty look but for me it's just too close to my skin tone to really stand out.

For another look below I used two coats of 901, firstly over white which adds a lovely pink shimmer. I then painted the ring and pinkie black and added two coats of 901. It totally changes the look and adds a real wow factor.

Personally I love the look below with the subtle chevron the best. It is awesome to have one bottle of polish capable of changing so many looks.

piCture pOlish have provided this polish to me for review, to grab some for yourself go to piCture pOlish On-line Store.

Wave of Polish Skittlette

It's not pastel pink and blue but is is pink and blue. I used Zoya Son for the blue, the awesome glitter is Emily de Molly Warrior Princess and the pink is piCture pOlish Mad Magenta. I love zigzags and technically while it's not exactly the right shades it was fun to step away from pastels.

Only 48 hours left on wave of polish auctions, don't forget to bid!!
