Emily de Molly - Living After Midnight

I love my Emily de Mollys and this one is no exception. In a gorgeous deep red - burgundy this polish has all the awesomness that you expect from an Emily de Molly holo. I adore the colour! I am wearing three thin coats and no top coat. I couldn't stop staring at my nails all day! Unfortunately as it's been so hot it's hard to do a lot of nail art. Stamping dries before you even get it near the nail. I hope it cools soon, as I have some gorgeous new stamping plates to share.

Dotted Flowers - Rose Gold and Green nails

I'm always in love with Zoya and green so this polish is no exception :). This is Alexa and it's such a pretty shade, unlike any other greens I own and I own quite a few lol. It was a delight to apply and I chose to pair it with the pretty Rose Gold Penny Talk from the Essie Chrome range. I then did simple flowers based on a design on IG by falguni_nails. I do adore that green and really like the end result. I wish my pinkie nail would grow! I have some wonderful polishes to swatch for you soon.

Arcane Lacquer - On the Brink

Today I have a gorgeous orange micro glitter polish from Arcane Lacquer called On the Brink. I really love orange and should wear it more often. As you know I also love a micro glitter, I just love the extra sparkle it brings.For an added pop I added a gold and silver little glitter gradient. On the Brink applied beautifully and I just love the overall look of this one. Now to add wear more orange polish to my list for 2014.

AN Monday stripes

This week's theme is stripes, I love stripes and think they always look fab on nails. I chose to use Lime Crime's Crema De Limon as a base colour. This is a really gorgeous pastel yellow that applied nicely with very little streaking. I did apply carefully though as pastels quite often streak. I then used striping tape and Zoya Tao, Dova and Trixie for the stripes. The glitter on my ring finger and at the bottom of my index is a England's Merlin. I'm really happy with the end result and I'm pleased I've gotten it finished early this morning as it's going to be a hot day!

Powder Perfect glitters - Magnus Bane, Pistachio Chip Icecream and Black and Blue

Today I have three glitters to show you from Powder Perfect Polish.  You can find Powder Perfect Polish on etsy or facebook and they will reopen on the 14th January.

The first is Magnus Bane. Magnus Bane is a black jelly packed full of colourful tiny glitter. It is gorgeous and you see something different in the polish everytime you look at it. The formula was superb and I am wearing three thin coats. This polish is versatile as the multi colour glitter means it can go with any outfit you chose and still have nails that look amazing.

Sigh green and lavender with flecks of bright light green what's not to love? You all know I'm a sucker for green polishes and the mix of the gorgeous pastel green with the glitters is gorgeous. I love that this has holo dot glitter but that it is more subtle than most other polishes with holo glitter. This polish also applied easily with minimal fishing for the dots. I didn't wear a base colour and this polish built the colour up nicely. I am wearing three thin coats and it's lovely and opaque.

The last glitter I have to show you is breathtakingly gorgeous. I love glitter but I also love how it's done in some Powder Perfect polishes. They prove you don't need to be packed full of glitter to have beautiful nails. This polish shifts from black to deep purple and even to a soft green. My photos have made the glitter look like it's all green but there is black holo glitter and blue micro glitter. Again the formula is wonderful and I used three thin coats.

Powder Perfect Polish - Sand in My Sunscreen and Raspberry Whorl review

Today I have two bright and fun creme polishes to show you by the fabulous Powder Perfect Polish. These are such great summer colours and I know I will get a lot of wear with them. One thing I think is missing in our Aussie Indies is plain creme polishes so I was very excited when these arrived to review. I love a good creme polish! While glitters are beautiful, cremes allow more wear with different nail art and glitter toppers, which to me makes them fabulous value to purchase. This vibrant aqua creme polish is called Sand in my Sunscreen and is the perfect shade of aqua blue that just screams summer. The formula was just beautiful, with no streaking and I am wearing 3 thin coats. The richness of the colour makes this a winner to me.

The second fabulous creme I have to share is called Raspberry Whorl. Again the colour is so vibrant and fun, just perfect for summer. The formula was again beautiful to use and the results as you can see are fabulous. I am wearing 3 thin coats and I had no problems with application at all. It was a delight to use. I love the opacity of both these polishes and the brightness of the colours makes them just beautiful.

Frozen from Disney nail art - Olaf

I watched Frozen the other day and have to say I'm in love with the movie. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it and would recommend it to anyone. Without giving too much away I have to say I was delighted to see some girl power and that for once Disney didn't use a Prince to solve all the drama. I loved the characters and my favourite was Olaf the snowman. He is cute and funny and just one of those Disney characters you have to love. So I had to attempt a Frozen mani.

Olaf didn't come out quite like I imagined but he's still cute. I started with a base colour of Zoya Seraphina. I then spoged Zoya Blu and Yummy on the top third of the nail and OPI Sparrow me the Drama and Zoya Gei Gei on the bottom third. Then I lightly sponged piCture pOlish White Wedding over every nail. I stamped my thumb, index, ring and pinkie with Essie No Place Like Chrome and bundle monster plate BM 323. I then went over the stamping using Konad white and plate BM-H02. I love the finished look of the stamping.
