Lilypad Lacquer- Almost Famous

Lilypad Lacquer- Almost Famous. This is one amazing holographic polish. In a gorgeous rich purple this polish has a pink shimmer that runs through it. The pink flashes as you move your nails around and with the added shimmer this is a gorgeous polish in the shade as well as the sun. The formula is wonderful and very easy to apply. The holo power is strong in this polish and there are loads of rainbows when it's in the sun.

Lilypad Lacquer - Frogs Alive

I have a gorgeous super bright green holo to share today. I simply adore this colour! It has a strong holo effect with lots of rainbows in the sun. I applied three thin coats here with one coat of HK girl top coat. The formula was fantastic and there were no problems with application. The weather is cooling off here and as much a I am loving the autumn colours, it was nice to have a nice bright polish on.

Have a great day, Tx.

Lilypad Lacquer - Green of the Jungle review

I'm pleased to have another holo polish from Lilypad Lacquer to share today. It's green :) and called Green of the Jungle, it's the perfect name as it is a true jungle green which leans toward khaki.  As usual with Lilypad Lacquer I am wearing two coats that provide perfect coverage. The linear holo is softer in this than in other Lilypad's but it still shows rainbows in the sunshine. As it's St Pat's Day I added a shamrock stamp in gold.

Lilypad Lacquers are available on Etsy but you really need to keep your eye on their Facebook page. They only open every now and again due to the many orders they receive, but they are so worth the wait!

Lilypad Lacquer - I Only Want What's Lime -review

Another green and another awesome Lilypad Lacquer. This one is a gorgeous colour that has hints of mint green that leans into a brighter lime green. It's a fresh fun colour that I just love. I Only Want What's Lime is a scattered holo with tiny gold particles that add a pop to the polish. This polish was super easy to apply, two coats and a top coat and you're done. I love how it sparkles in the sunlight but looks just a pretty in the shade due to the mini gold flecks throughout the polish. I know I'm going to get a lot of wear out of this polish.

Lilypad Lacquer - All About Blue

I just love Lilypad Lacquer's holos and am so happy to be sharing one with you all today. This is All About Blue. It's a gorgeous deep blue, not as dark as a navy, more like a denim colour. The holo power is super in this one and I love all the rainbows :). Application was great, I am wearing two coats with no top coat. The dry time was excellent and the colour is just rich and gorgeous. One thing I really loved about this polish is that it still looks pretty when out of the sun, it has a fine blue shimmer throughout that makes it maintain the gorgeous colour in the shade. Some holos tend to look a little blah without sunlight but All About Blue looks like a denim coloured polish in the shade. I have added a photo at the bottom for you to see. Lilypad Lacquers are available on Etsy but you really need to keep your eye on their Facebook page. They only open every now and again due to the many orders they receive, but they are so worth the wait!

I added this photo as I love how it has a denim look to it in the shade

Lilypad Lacquer - Lilac Lovely and Merlot for Me

I have a couple of gorgeous Lilypad Lacquer polishes to share today. The first is Lilac Lovely. The formula on this was really great. I am only wearing two coats as it built up nicely. I am wearing no base coat and on coat of topcoat. The colour is very pretty and feminine and most definitely lilac. The holo power in the sun is fantastic and one of the things I loved the most about this polish was how pretty it looked indoors. Some holos really don't look nice in the shade but Lilac Lovely is still beautiful in the shade.

The second polish is Merlot for Me. It has scattered holo particles throughout and really sparkles in the light. It is a very brown plum, sometimes looking brown and other times plum. Very much like it's namesake Merlot. Application was great and I am wearing three thin coats with no base coat and one coat of topcoat. I love the uniqueness of this polish, it's unlike anything else I have in my polish stash.

If you can get your hands on some Lilypad Lacquer polishes you won't be disappointed.

Lilypad Lacquer - Vanellope

This stunner is from Lilypad Lacquer and is a limited edition polish, part of the What's in-die box subscription which you can learn about here. Last month's theme was Wreck it Ralph and this gorgeous light mint green holo is Vanellope. I've told you before but I can't say it enough Lilypad Lacquer's creator Nicole is the master of holo polishes and this one is no exception. It has a gorgeous subtle shift to pink that I unfortunately couldn't pick up in photos. The photo above and the last one below are in full sunlight showing just how gorgeous and strong the holo is. I adore a fabulous holo, who wouldn't love rainbows on their fingertips?

Hope your week is going well, Tx

Lilypad Lacquer - Rainbows in Space

I'm a sucker for a holo! I adore them and Lilypad Lacquers are the master at making super holos in a huge range of colours. This one is black and bestill my heart it is AMAZING!! All of Lilypad holos apply perfectly and I'm even wearing a top coat with this one and the holo power still shines through. Just to be different this time I did some stamping, firstly mainly black creme with holo design and then inverted. I love how both turned out :). I used 3 coats of Rainbows in Space - mainly because I like to use 3 thin layers.

Yay it's Friday! Have an amazing weekend, Tx

Lilypad - We are mint to be

Now I do love green but how awesome is this mid green holo? It is so pretty and the holo is just fabulous. I used quite a few different lights to show off the holo. Above is in a well lit area with flash. The first one below is daytime light but as it was a cloudy day I used flash. It is just the most gorgeous green, lighter green than any other green holo I own. Application is a breeze and this polish will be added to my favourites box as you can really wear it any time or place. I am again using my cinderella hand and it only works in one position so forgive the lack of variety in photos.

Guest posts will be going up soon, please visit and leave a comment for the amazing ladies who are posting for me!

Thursday :( but at least tomorrow is Friday!! Tx

Above is natural light, on a very overcast day.
