Arcane Lacquer - Dreary Days

Dreary  Days is a gorgeous polish from Arcane Lacquer. In a grey crelly base this polish has subtle small hex glitters in lavender and black with iridescent purple hexes and holo. It  is the perfect work friendly polish as the glitter is soft and subtle but still adds a pop of colour. Application was super easy and I wearing 3 thin coats with one coat of top coat. I just love the colours used and this is one of my favourite polishes as it's suitable for any occasion.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend, Tx

Arcane Lacquer - On the Brink

Today I have a gorgeous orange micro glitter polish from Arcane Lacquer called On the Brink. I really love orange and should wear it more often. As you know I also love a micro glitter, I just love the extra sparkle it brings. For an added pop I added a gold and silver little glitter gradient. On the Brink applied beautifully and I just love the overall look of this one. Now to add wear more orange polish to my list for 2014.

I hope my fellow Aussies are surviving the heat wave! Tx

Arcane Lacquer - Infinity Skittlette

I picked up some gorgeous polishes from Arcane Lacquer's post Christmas sale. Today I have Infinity to show you, it's a fabulous cobalt blue micro glitter. In a matching jelly base it was simple to apply and I am wearing three thin coats on my index and itty bitty pinkie nails. I love this polish, you already know I'm a huge micro glitter fan, so that added with the depth of colour and how Infinity sparkles like crazy has made me a huge fan of this polish. I know a full swatch would have been great but I like to mix it up too much and had to add something different. My middle finger is my absolute favourite silver glitter combo, I use one coat of Zoya Trixie and two thin coats of a England Merlin. Merlin is just an amazing glitter that sparkles intensely and always has me looking at my fingers. My ring finger is Zoya Tallulah, a gorgeous cobalt blue. I know my nails aren't nubs to many of you and I'm not complaining too much but please pinkie grow some more and catch up to the others :). I need a little more length in them all to pose them how I like too, but am hoping to stay a little shorter than normal this time around. In an ideal world I'd love to give almond shape a try but think they would break too often on me :(.

Hope you're having a great week, Tx.

Arcane Lacquer Christmas Collection Part 1

I am super excited to be able to share with you the absolutely gorgeous Christmas Reflections collection by Aussie Indie Arcane Lacquer. I absolutely love this collection and think it shows both fantastic traditional and modern Christmas looks. This collection will be released on November 17th and will be $9.50 per 12ml bottle.

Available from Arcane Lacquer's etsy store, or keep up to date with Arcane Lacquer through Facebook.

Today I have three beauties to show you and I'll share the final three tomorrow. Watch out they are so gorgeous this post is picture intense :)

First one to show you is the gorgeous Whimsy Wonderland. This polish is like Christmas in a bottle and one of my favourites from this collection. It has a gorgeous forest green base and is filled (but not over filled) with small square and hex green glitter, smaller square red glitter and gold, green and red micro glitter. It applied just beautifully and I am wearing three thin coats with top coat.  I already know I will be wearing this one a lot this festive season as it looks so Christmasy!! (If that's a word).

The second beauty from this collection is Midnight Epiphany.Midnight Epiphany has a sapphire blue jelly base with shards of silver glitter, medium hex and tiny hex glitters as well as blue blue hex in various sizes and the smallest touch of black small hex glitter. This combination of glitters ensures this polish has so much depth. This was also super easy to apply, I have used three thin coats and one coat of top coat. I especially love that a gorgeous modern Christmas blue has been added to the Christmas collection.

The last one of the day and definitely not the least is the very cute and pretty Modern Trimmings. Ok so it's green and always going to 'speak' to me but just look!! it's like a Christmas tree on your nails but in a good way, not a kitsch way. In a gorgeous what I would call Christmas tree green jelly base this polish is full of micro green glitter which really builds the depth that is so amazing. There is also a touch of micro pink glitter as well as green hex glitter and small blue hex glitter. Then the shining glory for me as you know I love dot glitter, is the splashes of colour that look like baubles in pink, blue and gold. Again it was super easy to apply and I am wearing three thin coats with one coat of top coat. Sigh it really is just so gorgeous!!

Don't forget these will be available from November 17th  from Arcane Lacquer's etsy store, or keep up to date with Arcane Lacquer through Facebook.

These polishes were provided for review, this does not change the way I write about them.
