AN Monday - theme anti-work appropriate

My anti-work appropriate nails feature the gorgeous but searingly bright Miss Ashleigh's And It Was All Yellow. It's the ultimate neon yellow!! I teamed it with Dove grey and love how they look together. The dots were done with a dotting tool and the stripes by using vinyl decals. I think it's a great look but not one that could be worn to many jobs.

Kind of a great bright start to the week, hope your week is a good one, Tx

Mint Green and Pink Valentine's Day nail design

If you've been around awhile you know my favourite colour is mint green, and that even though I love the colour it always gives me lobster hands :(. Sometimes I just think too bad and this was one of those occasions. I also love mint green and pink together, a marriage made in heaven. The divine mint green in this look is Miss Ashleigh's A Pastel Exper-mint. The pink is OPI Sparrow Me the Drama. My ring finger has a custom polish that Peita's Polish made for me as is the gorgeous mint green glitter.

Hope you're having a fabulous week, Tx.

AIPAS theme bright - Miss Ashleigh And It Was All Yellow and Show Us Your Watermelons

AIPAS is a newish group standing for The Australian Indie Polish Appreciation Society, that is a group where we share our love for Aussie Indies and everyone is welcome to join, follow this link to their Facebook page. They have a theme every week and this week's theme is bright. With bright for a theme I had to use the gorgeous new release polishes from Miss Ashleigh as they are so gorgeous and bright, bright, bright :). I used Show Us Your Watermelons on my thumb, index, middle and pinkie fingers. I used a white base on my ring and striping tape to make diamond shapes. I filled in the diamonds in an almost zigzag pattern just for something different. The result definitely fulfilled the bright theme and is a great summer mani.

Take care, Tx.

Miss Ashleigh - Deja Blue swatches and review

I've been in love with this polish since the first photo was released for a sneak peek. It is a glorious intense royal blue with scattered holo throughout. It looks great in the shade and comes alive in the sun, with loads of sparkle. The formula was wonderful, as is my thing I used three thin coats on these swatches. The first coat is a little sheer but don't panic as it builds up with the second coat, into a gorgeous vibrant colour. Dry time was great and I am wearing a top coat which didn't dull the sparkles at all. Then I had to add some nail art, so I stamped with EDM04 and placed small silver dots on my index and pinkie. I'm in love with this polish! To grab one for yourself visit Miss Ashleigh at her website and keep up to date with all the news from Miss Ashleigh on her Facebook page. All Miss Ashleigh products are Australian made with a 5 Free formula.

I can't wait to share the other Miss Ashleigh polishes I have to review with you all!

These polishes were sent to me for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Please note computer monitors may vary in colour display.

Neon Dots

I love playing with neons but this design didn't come out quite like the image I had in my head. I'm not sure if I like it or not... Anyway I did the white base and dots of China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, Towel Boy Toy, I'm with the Lifeguard and Beach Cruise-r with Miss Ashleigh And It Was All Yellow., I taped a section off and painted it black. I then did white dots and went over them with the neons to make the colours pop. Hmm still not sure.

Yay it's Saturday, I love weekends, hope you have a fantastic one, Tx
