Bright and Quirky nail design - dots and Zig Zag

I want to call these circus nails as they are quirky and fun but really it's just me playing around with colours. If you're a windows user you may recognise this palette as Iris available in Word and Publisher. The orange is OPI Toucan DO It If You Try, the green is butter London Jaded Jack, the blue is Essie Butler Please! and the off white is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. I like the bright colours together and I'm really enjoying using different colour palettes on my nails :)

Have a fabulous relaxing Sunday, Tx.

butter London Jaded Jack and Giddy Kipper nail art

Hi everyone! I was missing for a day as the new little puppy got sick, thankfully it was a 24 hr bug and he seems good again. So today I wanted to try these colours together. I love both the blue Giddy Kipper and Jaded Jack as individual polishes and now I love them together. It's nice to add a pop colour now winter is upon us. I used Giddy Kipper on my index, Sea Siren Reflections on my middle finger, Kester Black French White as my white base colour and Jaded Jack on my pinkie. I made the stripes using tape and painted in the stripes with a nail art brush. The dots are done with a dotting tool. :)

Enjoy your Wednesday Tx

Butter London Bluecoat and Inky Six

Good morning everyone! I have a nasty cold  :(, so please look at the photos and ignore my lack of  words today. Two gorgeous butter Londons, Bluecoat perfect plain deep blue shimmer and Inky six a gorgeous deeper blue glitter. I attempted triangle half moons but they don't show well, sorry I just couldn't be bothered redoing them lol. I'm very pleased and lucky it's only a garden variety cold but man the first day always makes you feel miserable doesn't it?

Have a wonderful Sunday guys! Tx

Pastel Chevrons

I used OPI LOVE.ANGEL.MUSIC.BABY as a base, it is meant to use without top coat but worked perfectly fine with it for this design. I then did the chevrons with Butter London Sweetie Shop pastels.

Easter's nearly here so if you're over the pastels I will be stopping soon :) Tx

Dots and Stripes - butter London

I've always wanted to try this look and I finally got around to it. The green is Squatter from butter London and the coral is Trout Pout from butter London. I started with a base colour of white. I then taped off the top section of my nail, with the green I painted the bottom half and with the coral I added striping tape before painting. I then did a strip of tape across the top of the colour, added striping tape for the nails with lines at the top. I then added the dots, topcoated and all done. An easy simple fun design to do.

Lots of swatches of new polishes from some amazing Aussie Indies coming up for you in the next few days. I hope you like them all as much as I do :) Tx.

AN Monday - Inspired by a Blogger

Today's theme is a mani inspired by another blogger. I chose this on http://pshiiit.com/2013/04/03/nail-art-fleuri-avec-bourjois-et-essie/ by Pshiiit. I adore everything she does and would love the have just half the skill she does.

For my base I used butter London Blagger - a gorgeous royal blue creme that applied like a dream. The flowers are five dots with white and the ring finger and middle of the flowers are Essie Beyond Cozy. I love little dot flowers and this is a great look for spring time.

Hope you had a great weekend and that you all saw yesterday's post. Follow one of the links and join in!!

butter London - Poole flowers

Today I have a simple but cute nail art. The green is butter London Poole and white is Nubar White tip. Flowers are easily made with a dotting tool and I added Zoya Trixie for a silver pop. It is really easy to do and it looks great!

Original idea seen on Instagram @sparkleandpolish

Have a great Saturday! Tx

butter London - Pitter Patter limited edition

butter London has released this gorgeous deep purple shimmer to commemorate the anticipated arrival of the royal baby. Purple has long been associated with royalty. Purple was worn as in olden times there were no photographs for commoners to know what the royal family looked like, so the royal family wore purple so that they could be recognised immediately. Pitter Patter is a pretty deep eggplant shimmer that shines with light. It applied beautifully and is a unique colour to my collection.

Can't wait to see what else will be brought out for the royal baby, there are rumours that Essie will release something as well.

Spooky and Sparkly

The gorgeous Kierra at Look What the Bats Dragged in had a birthday yesterday, as we live across Australia she threw a blog party where we could do our nails in her chosen theme and join her in celebrating :).  Her theme was spooky and sparkly, not something I usually do so it was fun! I used butter London Union Jack Black Jack as a base, added the wonderful Alanna Renee's Dementor on a diagonal. Then I put those pesky fiddly little diamantes across, abat stamp on the accent finger and I love the whole look!

Hope you had a fabulous day Kierra!!

Essie Trophy Wife and butter London Henley Regatta

Today I have a quick and easy mani that looks fabulous on your nails. I used Essie Trophy Wife a gorgeous metallic teal and paired it with butter London Henley Regatta a very pretty teal glitter. The colour is just wow and is one of those looks that pop and I can't stop looking at my nails :). Adding different textures of nail polish creates an awesome look and you can choose to highlight just one nail, two side by side or two spaced out. They all give an extra wow factor compared to just plain nails.

AN Monday - hearts

For this week's theme hearts, I didn't want to go for a heart overload so chose this look where the hearts are subtle. I used Zoya Micky which is a gorgeous new creme polish by Zoya. I'm not usually a pink girl but this shade is beautiful and on the cusp of being a coral. For the black I used butter London Union Jack Black. The hearts were made with both a dotting tool and a nail art brush.

I love how it turned out :)

Hard to believe it's Monday again, hope you have a great week!

Yes another chevron :)

So I have a bit of a thing for chevrons at the moment. There's just something fun and funky about them :)

For this look my index and pinkie are butter London The Black Knight
middle finger is butter London Union Jack Black
Ring is Zoya Purity and awesome chevron decals I told you about before. They are so easy! So much better than painting the perfect design and top coat smudging it :)

Have a fabulous Tuesday!
