Grace-full Nail Polish - Christmas Collection 2015

.

Welcome to our Grace-full Nail polish Christmas collection. We are using the above graphic as labels on all Christmas polishes. This is a six polish collection with three holos, two superholographic micro glitters (like Mt Doom) and one jelly glitter. The Exuberant Elf holo polish is part of a duo collaboration with Powder Perfect who has a Santa holo and will release separately. Onto the polishes. http://www.gracefullnailpolish.com is only open another week before Christmas Break.

First is Vixen. I made Vixen as a gift for my swatchers last Christmas and as someone has just posted a photo in the fan group there’s been a great interest to see it brought to the public. Vixen is a red/orange/coral version of Mount Doom with the same gold superholographic glitter.

swatch by Emma

Stille Nacht, stille nacht is German for Silent night. I learnt how to sing Silent Night in German in grade 4 and have never forgotten lol. Stille Nacht is a deep blue jelly base with the silver version of the superholographic microglitter. Two easy to apply coats for full super sparkly coverage. I like to do at least one polish that can be worn any time of the year and not just Christmas.

Christmas Rose – a gorgeous Rose Gold holo with shimmer. I love this one and it’s probably my favourite holo I’ve ever made. I am a huge Rose Gold fan! I made this one to match my iPhone 

Exuberant Elf is part of a duo collaboration with Powder Perfect. It’s a bright elf green with silver flakes throughout. Perfect Christmas elf green that covers fully in 2-3 coats.

Starry Christmas – I made this one for myself in the middle of last December and I just love it. I know jelly glitters have gone out of vogue but I think they still have a place at Christmas. Starry Christmas has a deep green jelly base with green stars, gold and red holographic stars, gold holo squares and red and green microglitter.

Silver and Gold – Silver and Gold is actually a Christmas Carol and the perfect name for this polish. It has a holographic base with gold and silver flakes throughout. It looks beautiful and shiny on its on. As an added option I have made a Christmas green and a red tint that can be painted over the top to add a glassy finish to the polish. You can choose whether you wish for it to come with tints or not.

That’s it and a very merry Christmas to all.

Santa and his Sleigh Nails

I've loved this design on the Moyou plate for ages but wasn't sure how I'd go just using part of the collage plate as I'd never tried before. By just applying polish to the design you want and using the small end of the stamper it was really easy. The background polish is beautiful but a one off I made for special friends this Christmas. The stars are from the same Moyou plate using the same technique and the dits are just with a dotting tool.  I sponged some white on my nails and lightly dabbed an iridescendant  glitter over it to make it glistening snow.

I love the look and loved wearing it :)

Merry Christmas Eve, Tx

Glitter Placement Bauble and Christmas Tree

I decided to try something I've never done before - glitter placement. I love the final look but take my hat off to those that do full nails and have perfectly straight glitter lines. It wasn't as time consuming as I thought but every bit as fiddly as I imagined. My base colour is OPI You're Such a Budapest.

Have a wonderful day, Tx

AN Monday theme - Santa and/or Reindeer and/or Elves

It's Monday again already and the last one before the fat man visits so he had to feature on my nails. I added Mrs Claus as she always gets left out :). It was a lot of fun to do. I used OPI My Vampire is Buff as the base for Santa and Mrs Clause, the red is OPI All I Want For Christmas is OPI. Mrs Claus's glasses have Essie No Place Like Chrome, her cheeks are Zoya Brigitte and both their noses are Zoya Rue. Rudolph is Zoya Normandi with a England Perceval as his nose and Zoya Codie as antlers. The elf is dark green Don't Mess With Opi and the bright green is butter London Jaded Jack.

Hope everything is going to plan in your house for Christmas Tx

Christmas Dots

Christmas dots that I'm not really sure I like. It's nice first glance but after a day wearing them they were a bit much. I think I just like softer dots on this scale. I used a custom Powder Perfect as a base colour. The dots are gold Zoya Ziv, Green OPI Don't Mess With OPI and the red is a England Perceval.

I can feel a migraine coming on so I'm off to bed, I'm just pleased I finlly got some gift wrapping done earlier.
Take care, Tx

Christmas Skittle

Morning everyone! I did a design similar to this last year but I don't remember where I saw the original so sorry to the artist. I do love the combination and I'm so enjoying doing candy cane now the red no longer bleeds with Pretty Serious's awesome top coat. The white is Kester Black French White, the red is Pretty Serious Looks that Kill, the green is China Glaze Emerald Sparkles and the silver glitter is a England Merlin. I stamped with Essie No Place Like Chrome, it's a BM plate but I didn't write down the number.

Hope you enjoy your weekend, Tx

Traditional Christmas Tree Nails

As much as I love non traditional colours for Christmas I still love traditional too. The green is one I made that has the super holographic glitter in, it never captures on camera but in real life it's just so sparkly. On my ring finger is Powder Perfect Kevin! and I made a Christmas tree with tape and China Glaze Emerald Sparkles.

Have a wonderful day, Tx

Silver and white Christmas design

I love silver and white together and I adore OPI Push and Shove when you first apply it, so I knew I wanted to add it to a Christmas look. I used China Glaze White on White, Essie No Place Like Chrome for the silver stripes and stamping with a Messy Mansion plate, obviously OPI Push and Shove for my middle finger and a England Merlin on my pinkie. I added some crystals to make a tree shape on my ring finger. It's a more classy look than normal, I just wish Push and Shove looked this good for a longer amount of time.

Have a wonderful day, Tx

Christmas Minions

I set myself a task for today's design. I decided to put Christmas nails into google and have a go at the first design to come up. @nailingstorm's Christmas minions was the first one so the challenge was set. Mine are no where near as good but I had fun doing them. The base colour yellow is Zoya Darcy, the red is a England Perceval, the white is just one I made and the the black is Zoya Raven as I find it smudges the least. I used Pretty Serious Artiste top coat again and the red and black both didn't budge at all, it's a miracle potion! Minions are just so cute :)

Hope you enjoy your weekend, Tx

Christmas Gift Wrap Nails

Hey everyone. Today it was time for some gift wrap, I always have trouble with the bows so used a template this time. Personally I prefer them as show below before the bows and just plain wrapping paper but that could just come from my dislike of doing bows in nail art :). My index is Grace-full Nail Polish Michelle, my middle finger is Pretty Serious Hell on wheels, the white is just one I made and the bright green in butter London Jaded Jack :) I have to sing the praises of Pretty Serious's new top coat Artiste, this is the first time I've done a candy cane nail and not had horrible bleeding from the red. I've used it on the last few designs and love that it stops bleeding and smearing - it's an absolute must have for nail art!!

Have a fantabulous day, Tx

Christmas Squares 3 Ways nail art

I'm a little indecisive at the moment so this designs ended up with three looks, I'm not even sure which one I like the most :). I do love geometric shapes so love the squares on the accent nails. The bright green is Grace-full Nail Polish Karen, the creme red is Powder Perfect is With My High Heels On and the deeper green is China Glaze Emerald Sparkles. I made the squares with vinyl straights on a dry white base, I then just coloured the squares in with a nail art brush. I use Shany brushes. The next look I added a gold snowflake with diamente from Emily de Molly. Then the last look I added Grace-full Nail Polish Crimson over the red and added some square diamentes to my index and pixie.

I'm still not sure what one is best so you get all three :)

Take care Tx

Let It Snow Christmas Nails

I absolutely love the Celestial Cosmetics Christmas polish Let It Snow. I used it for inspiration behind this design and am wearing it on my index and pinkie.  My ring finger base is Cate Ruby Sky, the Christmas tree is Zoya Yummy and the dots are Zoya Edie, Zoya Natty and piCture pOlish Sky. The silver is my favourite Zoya Trixie. I love non traditional Christmas colours just as much as traditional, and really nowdays Christmas decorations are no longer just traditional colours.

Hope you have a fab day, Tx

Christmas Stars and Candy Cane Stripes Nails

I've been waiting to make this polish, I just knew I really wanted one with stars in traditional Christmas colours and now the latest collection is out I had time to make one and I just love it. I love squishy jelly polishes and the mini red, gold and green stars are just right. I do feel bad showing you one off polishes I've made but you can always make a custom order if there is something you must have. I teamed it with a red microglitter and some gold candy cane stripes. I know I'll be using this polish a lot this month :)

Have a wonderful day, Tx
