Gloss n' Sparkle - Above Deck

Today I have a gorgeous polish from Gloss n' Sparkle. Above deck is an aqua/turquoise blue filled with small blue and small blue holographic glitter with a touch of duochrome. The colour shifts from aqua blue to a more turquoise blue. I am wearing two coats with one coat of top coat. The formula was excellent and application was a breeze.

You can buy Above Deck from Gloss n'Sparkle's online shop at $9 for 12ml. Stay in touch will all the news on Gloss n' Sparkle's Facebook page.

Melodious from Gloss n'Sparkle

Today I have another glorious Gloss n'Sparkle to share with you. Melodious is a gorgeous deep purple leaning towards Blurple polish with a pink shimmer and tiny gold holographic glitter. The holo glitter gives it a huge amount of sparkle that doesn't show in photos but I promise it's one of those polishes where you can't stop looking at your nails. The formula was excellent, very easy to use and I am wearing two thin coats with one coat of top coat.

You can buy Melodious from Gloss n'Sparkle's online shop at $9 for 12ml. Follow Gloss n' Sparkle on their Facebook page to keep up to date with the news.

Gloss n'Sparkle - One Step Beyond review

Today I have a gorgeous polish by Gloss n'Sparkle an amazing Aussie Indie. One Step Beyond is a stunning polish with a deep purple jelly base and dot, square and hex glitter in pink, fuchsia, sky blue and teal. The large pieces of glitter were easy to capture and the formula just perfect. I only need one dabbed coat of polish and the glitters built up to create that fabulous layered look. I finished with one coat of top coat. One Step Beyond really is a show stopper and I didn't want it take it off. Simply gorgeous!

You can buy One Step Beyond from Gloss n'Sparkle's online shop at $9 for 12ml.

Gloss N' Sparkle Goblins Grave

This one is so gorgeous I don't know what took me so long to try it. In a gorgeous dark green jelly the hex glitters shine through beautifully and provide a great contrast to the base. It has that gorgeous extra shine that a jelly provides though I did add top coat for protection. Just gorgeous!

Gloss 'N Sparkle Boogey Man's briefs

This is the closest you will see of me doing halloween nails. I'm not against the holiday at all I just believe that it is becoming too commercial in Australia as well as a concern I have for the homogenising of cultures. While generations of children and adults in many countries have enjoyed the customs of Halloween it has only been in the last few years that Australians have jumped on the Halloween bandwagon. I like to believe Australia as well as other countries have their own customs and rituals. However through the forces of globalisation what was traditionally ours and theirs is proving difficult to keep separate and the lines are becoming blurred as we fight harder to articulate our national identity. I want us to keep hold of our uniqueness and have a genuine concern that in the quick growth of  globalisation there is a threat that we lose what it means to be Australian. Enough of my opinion and on to the polish.

This beauty was brought out by Gloss 'N Sparkle for Halloween but I had to buy it as it is just the prettiest green. Teemed with the colourful glitters and the awesome neon hexes and stars - I just love it. I am wearing two coats, this was very easy to apply and involved no fishing for any glitter.

If you celebrate Halloween enjoy! I have nothing against anyone who does, I just prefer not to :).

Gloss 'n' Sparkle - Unicorn Droppings Australian Indie

I just love this polish! How cute is it? It's such a fun polish, my hubby calls it the 100's and 1000's polish. The name itself Unicorn Droppings is a great description and if there was a Unicorn I think this is what it would leave behind :).

Unicorn dropping is in a white cream jelly base, filled with rainbow hex glitter and with tiny holo pieces that lead to a silver white finish. I wanted a whiter look so I applied one coat of Zoya Purity as a base. I then added two coats of Unicorn droppings and topped it off with a coat of Hk Girl top coat.

Unicorn droppings applied beautifully there was no fishing for glitter and it spread easily and evenly on it's own. Gloss 'n' Sparkle is an Australian Indie and is off top quality, there is a huge range of choice of unique colours and glitters.

Gloss 'n' Sparkle is on vacation at the moment but can be found at etsy for Australians or Shoppe Electicco for world wide shipping.

Have a great Thursday, I can see Friday from here :).
