AN Monday (on a Tuesday) - location theme

This week's theme was he polish in the right hand front corner of your second drawer/box/row of the storage system closest to where you paint your nails. Mine was Zoya Mieko, it's meant to be a cerise colour but mine is far more orange than cerise. I used a Stuck on Love Decal I bought from Powder Perfect to make the mermaid scales using Zoya Ziv as a base. I totally love this polish and this look at it was really easy to do :)

Have a wonderful week, Tx.

AN Monday - theme - favourite brand - Zoya Ryan and Remy

I just couldn't choose one favourite Australian Indie so I went with my favourite mainstream brand Zoya. I love everything about Zoya polishes from the brush to the formula, and on me they wear great. In this look I used Zoya Ryan  and Remy with a diamond striping tape pattern. I love the pop of colour Remy adds underneath Ryan.

Hope your week is going well, Tx

Zoya Bubbly Dotticure

I was in the mood for a cheer me up mani and couldn't go past Zoya's Bubbly collection. I love Zoya and each of these cremes applied flawlessly. My index is Rocha, my middle finger Ling, my ring Tilda and my pinkie Rooney. I then used those four colours in the dots. Unfortunately Rooney doesn't show very well over Rocha but the end result still makes me feel happy :)

Have a great weekend, Tx

Zoya Ibiza

We've had a few rainy days so it felt appropriate to pull out a gorgeous dark blue polish to wear. This polish is Zoya Ibiza and it's the bomb! I think that Zoya Ibiza is to blue what Chanel Taboo is to purple, it's the best, most stunning dark blue polish I've seen yet. I teamed it up with silver and a England's Merlin on my ring finger and stamped with a new Emily de Molly plate no 9 on my middle finger. I love it! The blue is so rich and has such colour depth it is swoon worthy :)

Have a fabulous Wednesday, Tx

Zoya Naturels Geometric Nails

Sorry but kind of not sorry that it's not long since I've used these as I just love them. Zoya absolutely makes the best cremes. So in this design I used Zoya Marney (my pinkie), Zoya Aubrey (my index), Zoya Rue (base of ring finger) and Zoya Brigitte (base of middle finger). I used all those colours in the squares. Squares are a really easy striping tape design. You only need to place 3 lines across and 2 down, then just fill in the squares with a nail art brush. So go ahead give them a try!

Hope your week thus far has been a great one, Tx.

Zoya Naturels Blobbicure

I'm sorry I haven't been around much and I'm not sure I'll be posting daily over the coming months but I'll try to post as often as I can. On Sunday we became one of the statistics when it was discovered my Mother has cancer. We don't know a lot about it yet as they have just started testing but obviously my mind has been elsewhere. We're all hoping and praying for the best outcome and hopefully when we have more news it will be good. I do adore my nail art though and in a lot of ways it's great therapy time for me so I won't disappear all together. Plus a huge bonus is that it gives me something to do in the middle of the night when I can't sleep.

Onto the nails, I've since discovered that this technique is also called a blobbicure. A tad of a strange name but it does make sense. I decided to try it out on the Zoya Naturels collection. I used Aubrey on my index and pinkie. The base of the blob nails is OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around, then I added Zoya, Madeline, Aubrey, Marney and Brigitte. It's not perfect but it's a lot of fun if you don't mind waiting a looooong time for your nails to dry.

I hope wherever you are that your week has been great, Tx.

Zoya Naturals 2 nail art

I'm so happy Zoya has brought out a new Naturals collection, I get so much wear out of the earlier collection. In today's design I am using three shades and I love them all. The darkest colour is Marney, the slightly lighter colour is Aubrey and the lightest is Madeline. I used Zoya Taylor as a base for the design on my middle fingers. I am in love with these colours and they compliment the earlier set perfectly. As always they apply like a dream. There's something about Zoya's formula I just love, you rarely need a lot of coats and the polish is light on the nail with a kind of plastic feel. Zoya is definitely my favourite mainstream brand and I'm yet to be disappointed in a collection.

 Have a fab day, Tx

Zoya Neutrals Wave Nail Design

I'm still loving my Zoya Neutrals and I am extra excited they are releasing another collection!! For this look I used Zoya Brigitte on my index, Rue as a base on my middle and ring and Chantal on my pinkie, I used Odette as the darkest colour in the waves then the other colours I've already used. I absolutely love the end result. I used the same technique I use for multi colour stripes using wave decals. Now one of you lovely readers asked where I got the guide sticker from in the stamped curved mani and it's the same place as I got the wave ones used in this look so I've hunted them down and it's here on eBay. I hope that helps :)

Have a fabulous Friday, Tx

I used a matte coat for the look below but I feel it washed out the colours too much, it was worth a try though :)

Zoya Anja Dotticure

Waves hello :) Hope your week is going well, it's Friday here now, thank God for Fridays. Today's design features a gorgeous new to me polish, Zoya Anja. It's a gorgeous vampy ox blood colour with undertones of purple. I added an accent nail in Cult Nails Blackout and added dots of Zoya Purity, Zoya Trixie and Zoya Anja over white. I think it looks great for a winter look.

Have a great Friday, Tx

Zoya Isla - Taped Stamped mani

Good morning, we've finally passed hump day and I can't wait for the weekend. Today's design is a new technique for me and I really like it. I started with a white base on all may nails. I then used Konad black and Moyou Pro plate 20 to do the swirly design. I top coated and waited for it all to dry.I then used a curvy decal and placed them on all the nails, then it was just simply painting Zoya Isla on all my nails and carefully removing the decal. I think the black and white design adds an interesting pop to the design.

Have a great day, Tx

Zoya Tickle Dotticure

Good morning wherever you may be. I have many weaknesses in polish but one of my big ones in Zoya. I love everything about the brand and the formula is always spot on. So yesterday when the Tickled and Bubbled collections arrived I had to start playing around. This is just a simple little dotticure while I tried out Zoya Ling (blue) and Zoya Rocha (orange). What's your polish weakness??

Stay safe, Tx

Winter squares nail design

Hi!! Today I have a sort of inspired design this time it's the puppy dog's blanket. He's asleep and I forgot to grab a photo of the blanket earlier :(. I didn't copy the design but loved the colours together. I used Zoya Carey as the dark grey, Zoya Dove light grey, Cate Ruby Sky for blue and Kester Black French White for white obviously :). I painted the base colours on and waited for them to dry, I then used tape to section the nail and filled in the squares with a nail art brush. Tape can be a pain to work with but the rest of the design is very easy once the tape plays nicely :)

I can see the weekend from here :) Tx

Zoya Kieko skittlette

Hello everyone, hope your weekend is going fabulously. We bought a new puppy into our famil so our weekend has been very busy so far. It's amazing how soon you forget how busy puppy's are until you have another one :)

Here's Finn a 10 wk old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - he's just adorable.

Right onto nails. I used Zoya Kieko in my index and pinkie. Yes it's a pink and you know I'm not a fan but I don't mind this one.I used another amazing micro glitter in pewter from Hollish Nails on my middle finger. Then I used a white base with a stamp from Princess collection from Moyou plate 14 and China Glaze Awaken as a stamping polish. Very easy to do and I love how it looks, those little flowers are cute!

Enjoy your Sunday, Tx.

NOTD Zoya Monica and Zoya Kendal

Hi everyone! The nail design I am wearing today is a purple skittlette. I love Zoya Monica it's such a gorgeous deep purple creme. I decided to combine it with Zoya Kendal a grey soft lilac colour creme. Sometimes it's hard to pick a polish to accentuate the main colour you want to wear, my hubby would say it's because I have too much choice but we all know that's just not possible :). I used Zoya Trixie for the line down the half and half design. Zoyas really are my favourite mainstream brand, the cremes usually have the perfect formula and I love the colour pigmentation and how thin you can get the coats.

Have a wonderful day, Tx

NOTD - Zoya Toni skittlette

Hello everyone, it's been a really cold night here, I hope you all stay warm wherever you are. I love winter but I also love to hate winter, and where I live is one of the coldest areas in Australia. One bonus to the colder weather is to be able to drag out the deeper darker colours. For today I have Zoya Toni in a gorgeous rich deep red on my index and pinkie, my middle finger is a England Merlin and I stamped with China Glaze Awaken and a Messy Mansion plate MM06. Now some nail people don't like the word skittlette, I'm not really fussed one way or another but it is handy to have a name for a look. A skittlette comes from the word skittle that we talked about early but instead of every nail being different usually at least two are the same. I know, right, you learn something new everyday :)

Hope you have a great day, Tx.

NOTD - Zoya Natty Flower Moons

Good morning! Here's what I'm wearing on my nails today. The dusty deep blue is Zoya Natty, I just love  the whole Zoya Designer collection this is from <3. The design idea was taken from http://instagram.com/nailsbyjosse who took it from http://instagram.com/justagirlandhernails. I used a nail art brush and white nail polish for the petals and my accent nail and half moons are OPI Honey Ryder. I kind of wish I'd make the flower centres less half moons and more circular flower centres ... but I still like the overall look.

Hope you have a wonderful day, Tx

Zoya Neutrals Skittle

Hello :). I'm back with more Zoya Neutrals again, I'm still totally in love with these colours and find them perfect for autumn. I am taking part in Crumpet's SIMPLES - Nail Art from Muggle to Mastery and it's good to get back to basics. I completed my plain skittle as you will see below and just couldn't help myself adding something to it. It's not really the meaning behind the challenge but I just can't help myself. The base colours are Zoya Odette on my index, Zoya Rue on my middle finger, Zoya Chantal on my ring finger and Zoya Normani on my pinkie. I then went for an abstract diagonal french tip, The index finger has Zoya Brigitte as the main colour of the french tip and Chantal as dots, the middle has Odette as the main colour and Brigitte as dots, my ring finger has Rue as the main colour and Odette for the dots and my pinkie has Chantal as the main colour and Rue for the dots. I love how well these colours work together. Hope you enjoy the look.

Have a great day, Tx.
