Winter squares nail design

Hi!! Today I have a sort of inspired design this time it's the puppy dog's blanket. He's asleep and I forgot to grab a photo of the blanket earlier :(. I didn't copy the design but loved the colours together. I used Zoya Carey as the dark grey, Zoya Dove light grey, Cate Ruby Sky for blue and Kester Black French White for white obviously :). I painted the base colours on and waited for them to dry, I then used tape to section the nail and filled in the squares with a nail art brush. Tape can be a pain to work with but the rest of the design is very easy once the tape plays nicely :)

Today I have 3 of these new shades to share with you, and just a little warning I adore all 3!!

This is Deceptively Sweet and it totally lives up to it's name. It looks like a pretty lilac polish but there is fine golden shimmer running throughout. The gold details bring the polish to life and this is my favourite of the 3 I have to show you. It's so feminine and subtle but really comes to life in the light, I just love it and it's proof that a polish doesn't have to have glitter overload to be amazing. I am wearing two coats with top coat.

This second polish is Faded Jeans. Fading Jeans has a pretty grey leaning towards blue base with teeny tiny bursts of coloured glitter. Again I really like that it isn't a polish full of glitter but the pops of colour are still there that add an extra wow factor. With both of these polishes they have a great subtle factor that would make them work appropriate and with the additions of fine glitter they are beautiful and a joy to wear. Again I'm wearing two coats with top coat.

The last one for today is Maneater. It's a fabulous holo that also has glitter throughout. I love the addition of glitter as sometimes a holo can be really dull in the shade but with the addition of glitter Maneater is a holo that looks beautiful in all lighting situations. The base is a teal holo and the glitters are iridescent reflecting through a rainbow of colours. I have two coats on with a top coat.

NOTD Green, white and grey stripe nail design.

Hello everyone! Today's look was again inspired by something and this time it's my tissue box. The design is mainly green so I guess it was a given I'd love it :). There is a photo of the tissue box below. I used Catrice Minter Wonderland as my base, it's photographed more blue than it looks in real life. I then added stripes in white, grey (Zoya Dove) and deeper green (Essie Naughty Nautical). I didn't want all my nails in stripes but I love how it turned out. I wonder what next object is going to jump out at me and say make me a nail design :).

Now usually I leave my favourite to the end so just for something different I'm starting out with it today, This polish is called Obsession. It's a deep green, so of course I'm drawn to it. I love the squishy look of the jelly and the depth it adds. The formula was just right which enabled easy application and I am wearing two coats with top coat.

Next is In My Dreams, now I'd call this a satin crelly, I may have just made up a word :). It's not as translucent as a jelly but is still translucent enough to let the glitters underneath to shine through with a visible satin sheen. It has a purple to deep magenta base and has iridescent glitters and gold flakes. I needed 3 coats with this one and I found just one coat of top coat smoothed out the glitter.

This is Foreboding and it's the sister to the amazing Fog is Rolling in from the Abandoned Mansion collection. This time we have a teal base and a duochrome shift from green to blue as you can see in the photo above. I am wearing two coats. I love how Jacinta makes these polishes as outside in the sun the holo shines but then in the shade you are still left with a pretty duochrome polish.

This is Despair, it is a blackened blue, darker than my photos show. It's a colour that is unique to my holo collection as it's such a stunning deep dark blue. I love finding colours that are new to my stash! Application was a breeze and I am wearing 2 coats.

Next is Grief, it's a very blue grey and in the sunshine sparkle with holo power. In the holo are glitters that shift from blue to green which again means this polish is just as special out of the sun. I had no problems with application other than it took 3 thin coats to build full opacity. 

Lastly we have Addictive Personality. This is a fun very light pink glitter creme. It has an abundance of bright glitters that pop beautifully next to the pale pink. Application was great and the glitters came out easily.

Powder Perfect Fading Tapestry chevron

Hello :) Today I decided to share with you one of my favourite polishes from Powder Perfect Fading Tapestry from the Abandoned Mansion collection. Fading Tapestry is a really nice brick red with orange under tones. It is a scattered holo with tiny gold flecks throughout. It was easy to build up opacity and I am wearing two coats. I used Powder Perfect Jace on my ring finger as a base for the chevron/zigzag, and the decal/stickers I always use to create the zig zag. This colour is unique to my collection and I love it on my nails as it's very flattering to my skin tone.

OPI Copacababies - Mini Pack review

Hello :) Hope you've had a great Friday and are ready for the weekend!! Today I have the cute little  

OPI Copacababies - Mini Pack to share with you. These little minis are great, perfect for travelling or ideal if you know you won't go through big bottle of polish. The Copacababies are from the Brazil collection. Brazil by OPI brings the colours of tropical rainforests and warm sandy beaches to nails and toes for 2014. The cremes applied beautifully in two coats and I am wearing a coat of top coat.

The first I have to show you is AmazOn....AmazOFF. It's the perfect deep teal polish creme.

The second little beauty is my personal favourite from the whole collection it's Where did Suzi's Man-go? It's a great bright but not too bright orange creme.

The third mini is Kiss Me I'm Brazilian! A pretty medium pink creme.

And last but not least is Next Stop Bikini Zone. This is a duochrome, I am wearing 3 coats with no base coat and the colour shift was subtle, worn over black would probably make the shift more visible. OPI describes  "an amethyst-toned pewter that suits just about everyone". The formula was great which made application easy.
