Celestial Cosmetics - Ocean Mist, Sand Dunes and Elegantly Wasted holos

Here are 3 more new gorgeous holos from Celestial Cosmetics. For Australians you can pick these up from Celestial Cosmetics. To my International followers this is also available to you from color4nailsMei Mei's Signature and Edgy Polish. This first one Ocean Mist is probably my second favourite from this new lot. (of course T's in a Tizz is my favourite). It is the most gorgeous shade of blue that has strong green undertones. It really is the perfect colour to represent the ocean. I am wearing three coats but this polish was opaque at two. It has fabulous holo power!

I was unsure of a bronze holo but once I put this polish Sand Dunes on I was mitten. Unfortunately my photos don't show the full awesomeness of the colour, it really is a perfect bronze. I have used 3 coats but again great coverage was achieved at 2. It was inspired from where Nicki lived in Roxby Downs, in the desert surrounded by sand. Photo below

This is Elegantly Wasted named after Nickis favourite song. It's a very pretty grey purple that I really like, in all the purple holos I own this one is unique. I am again wearing three coats with no top coat. The formula again was a breeze to apply and it has lots of holo payoff.

Celestial Cosmetics - T's in a Tizz

I'm super excited to share this polish with you today! The wonderful Nicki from Celestial Cosmetics named this polish after me :). Not only is it my favourite colour in the world it's also an amazing holo that packs a punch with it's awesome formula. This polish is part of some new holos from Celestial Cosmetics that I will share over the next few days. I am wearing three thin coats with no top coat. The formula is a dream to work with and it has awesome holo power. The green is just beautiful, a real spearmint green that's just perfect in a holo. It's really an honour to have a polished named after me :). So now you all need to go and buy one! For Australians you can pick one up from Celestial Cosmetics. To my International followers this is also available to you from color4nails, Mei Mei's Signature and Edgy Polish.

AN Monday - Australia theme - Indigenous paintings

I wanted to pay homage to the first Australians so I attempt a design based on Indigenous paintings. Not all my dots came out perfectly but I still like it :). I used Nubar Milk Chocolate Creme as a base and did dots in Zoya Snow White, Zoya Raven, OPI Skyfall and Elf Innocence. Today is the start of my Australia week as we head into Australia day. I believe in the need for a change to the date of Australia day as to me it's not an accurate representation of a date that encompasses Australia and it's rich diversity. It's not a popular opinion but it's mine none the less and I respect everyone's right to an opinion. I'm no less patriotic than the next person, but I don't like our recent history of increasing racism in the lead up to Australia day and the very fact that even the UN has recognised our racism. So you won't see a Southern cross or similar mani from me this week but I am looking forward to sharing Aussie Indies and the many other great things that make Australia the wonderful place it is. Enough politics on a nail blog, I love that polish is fun and uplifting so I can't wait to share our gorgeous polishes with you all this week. The majority of which are available internationally and I will include details on where you can find the newest polishes with reasonable shipping rates.

Ugh it's Monday already, where did that weekend go? Tx

Miss Ashleigh - Deja Blue swatches and review

I've been in love with this polish since the first photo was released for a sneak peek. It is a glorious intense royal blue with scattered holo throughout. It looks great in the shade and comes alive in the sun, with loads of sparkle. The formula was wonderful, as is my thing I used three thin coats on these swatches. The first coat is a little sheer but don't panic as it builds up with the second coat, into a gorgeous vibrant colour. Dry time was great and I am wearing a top coat which didn't dull the sparkles at all. Then I had to add some nail art, so I stamped with EDM04 and placed small silver dots on my index and pinkie. I'm in love with this polish! To grab one for yourself visit Miss Ashleigh at her website and keep up to date with all the news from Miss Ashleigh on her Facebook page. All Miss Ashleigh products are Australian made with a 5 Free formula.

I can't wait to share the other Miss Ashleigh polishes I have to review with you all!

Neon Dots

I love playing with neons but this design didn't come out quite like the image I had in my head. I'm not sure if I like it or not... Anyway I did the white base and dots of China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, Towel Boy Toy, I'm with the Lifeguard and Beach Cruise-r with Miss Ashleigh And It Was All Yellow., I taped a section off and painted it black. I then did white dots and went over them with the neons to make the colours pop. Hmm still not sure.

Yay it's Saturday, I love weekends, hope you have a fantastic one, Tx

Saran Wrap Nail Art

I'm trying to find nail art that works in the heat, the Saran wrap method sort of did/ I love the look but the polish was drying faster than I could dab it. I used 3 thin coats of Zoya Richelle, let it dry and added a thickish coat of Zoya Robyn. I then took what we call Cling Wrap here but aka Saran Wrap elsewhere, scrunched it up and dabbed at the blue polish. It leaves a gorgeous marble effect, which isn't as obvious in this one because of the stupid heat! I love gold and blue together, they just work.

Have a fab day, Tx
