Turns out it was Google who added the snow to previous photos and looks like they've done it again. It looks very festive doesn't it? I've combined two challenges again, the Aussie Nails Holiday challenge - Ready for Christmas theme and the 12 days of Christmas Santa and freinds theme. So today we have Santa and some friends bodies. Firstly on my index is a snowman, next is Santa's suit, then there is an elf and lastly a gingerbread man. I used Cult Nails Tempest for the white, a Englan Perceval for red, the lighter green in butter London Squatter and the daker green is Zoya Holly, the brown is Nubar Milk Chocolate Creme. I used tape for the belt and elf striped and free handed the rest. It's Christmas Eve in Australia but I still hope to post a couple more Christmas manis. Hope everything is going smoothly with your festive plans, Tx

Navy and Silver Snowflakes
I know I keep saying that it's not winter here but I do love a good snowflake mani. This gorgeous navy is Cate Ruby Navy Star and I stamped using Essie No Place Like Chrome and Bundle Monsters BM-HO2. The diamentes are linked and apart from being a pain to position I do like them. They add a nice pop but definitely wouldn't be practical for any form of work. I have at least two more Christmas designs up my sleeve, maybe even two more then sadly it will be over :(. I hope you've enjoyed my Christmas looks as much as I've enjoyed doing them, Tx.
Silver Christmas Skittle
There's something about silver and white that just works on nails. I love this look and it was super easy. My silver candy cane nail was done with Zoya Dove, my middle finger is Zoya Seraphina, my ring is stamped with Essie No Place Like Chrome and I'm sorry I didn't write down the plate number and my pinkie is Hollish Nails Murder on the Dance Floor. I'm almost getting sad that Christmas nails will have to finish soon, so I'll try and cram a few in to these last couple of days. Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend, Tx

12 days of Christma Nail Art Challenge - Christmas Decorations
Again I couldn't go past baubles, I just love baubles! This is a simple mani but I love the pop the glitter gives. I used OPI My Vampire is Buff as a base colour and the baubles are done with Nubar Night Sparkle, Violet Sparkle, Teal Glitter and the aqua one has lost it's name. Busy times around here with a wedding tomorrow and Christmas things to do it's going to be a busy few days. Take care, Tx

Santa in a Chimney nail art
This look was inspired by a design done by Kayla Shevonne, I just added my own twist to it. Instead of snow I wanted to add the night sky behind our poor stuck Santa. I used a base colour of piCture pOlish Cosmos, this is a gorgeous polish, similar to Zoya Dream but more navy in colour. I then painted the moon and sponged a teeny bit of Zoya Serephina on the moon to give depth. Santa was just a matter of painting the last third in a light colour, I chose Elf Innocence and also doing the basic shape of Santa in the same light colour so that the red would pop against the blue. The bricks are freehanded and the snow is done with a dotting tool. Yay it's getting closer to Christmas - I just love this season!!
Take care,Tx

Christmas tree dotticure
I am so in love with China Glaze Emerald Sparkle, to me it's the perfect green and I love wearing it. I wanted to wear it as the base colour for all nails, and accompanying it with gold was the perfect choice. The little Christmas tree was made with Arcane Lacquer's Twinkling Tinsel Christmas polish. The dots are in China Glaze Passion and I really like the final look.
I'm relieved to finally be done with all Christmas shopping!! I just have my perishables that I've already ordered and will be delivered Christmas Eve morning. It's a great feeling! Hope you are all close to being one too, stay safe, Txx

Aussie Nails 2013 Holiday Nail Art Challenge - Holiday food
I'm slowly catching up in all the challenges, I may miss a couple but it is a crazy time of year to be attempting so many. I really enjoyed doing this Holiday food mani. My index is a chocolate candy cane, yes they do make chocolate flavour!! Second is a ginger bread man stamped with Essie Penny Talk and plate HD08, the base colour is Elf Innocence. The ring and my plum pudding is a base of the wonderful Cirque French Roast and my pinkie is my favourite holiday treat I make every year which is Rocky Road. Now I don't like cherries so I substitute them for Wild Raspberry lollies and YUM it's to die for. I tried to make the light brown a little peanut shaped and the white is the marshmallows and the red the raspberries all on a gorgeous base of Nubar Milk Chocolate Creme.
Stay safe during this busy time, Tx
