EmilydeMolly Bellissima

Today I have a sneak peek for you of a soon to be released polish from EmilydeMolly. This glitter topper is beyond words, it is just so beautiful and so stunning. It has a perfect match of holo round and hex large glitter, small round holo dots, small matte lavender glitter and medium matte lavender glitter.I'm so in love with this polish, there is something so soft and feminine about it. I used it over two coats of Zoya Dove, it looks great over grey but also has the potential to be worn over many colours and be just fabulous. After leaving the bottle upside down for awhile I had no problems with glitter and there was no fishing. I did move some of the large dots into place but for the super pay off this really wasn't a problem.

Keep your eye out for this one it is a must have!

piCture pOlish - Electric Blue Review

Today I have piCture pOlish's Electric Blue to share with you. Electric Blue is a gorgeous rich navy blue but has a shimmer of bright cobalt blue in certain lights that give it an extra wow factor. It applies beautifully and has a gorgeous shine to it. I used two coats of Electric Blue, however if you carefully apply the first coat the pigment in the polish is enough to wear as a one coater.  I decided to pair it with a vibrant orange in Zoya Amy as there is something about navy and orange that I just love. I used pre-cut decal to guide in painting the zigzag/chevron on my ring finger and painted some rhinestones to match. It's a simple look but with the contrast of the navy - bright cobalt and orange it looks great and eye catching.

 This is a fabulous navy blue to add to your collection as the bright blue shimmer adds a gorgeous wow factor.

Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Ruby Hare

I'm a little bit excited to tell you that Femme Fatale Cosmetics now has a range of holos!!! You know I love a holo and this beauty Ruby Hare was stunning from the beginning of the application. It has a super holo finish and sparkles in the lowest of light. The colour is a berry pink/burgundy and while I own quite a few holos this shade is unique to my collection. The application was silky smooth and one coat was opaque but I did two just in case. This polish was still pretty when out of the light, some holos just look blah when in the shade but Ruby Hare is still very pretty in the shade. I really want to get my hands on some more Femme Fatale Cosmetics holos as I am just so impressed with the formula, sparkliness and colours.

EmilydeMolly Steeling Diamonds

Steeling Diamonds is another creme glitter stunner by EilydeMolly. In a gorgeous blue base that EmilydeMolly calls a steel blue it is packed with grey matte hexes and squares, white matte diamonds, small hexes and large hexes and for a wonderful pop of colour there is bright blue holo small and large hexes. I am wearing two coats over a blue base and application was easy. I tip bottles of glitter polish upside down for as long as possible before using them as I find the larger pieces of glitter come out easily this way.

For the accent finger I used a white base and taped off sections with striping tape to form the diamond shapes. The silver polish is Zoya Trixie.

I love the end result :)

Cult Nails Let Me Fly Chevron

This gorgeous teal is to die for! It has a silver shimmer that gives it an extra pop to your normal teal creme. I applied beautifully and I used two coats. I didn't want to do a plain swatch so I added a England Merlin to my middle finger and a chevron of Zoya Trixie and Let me Fly over Zoya Purity. This is officially what a chevron is, the arrow shape is a chevron. Zigzag manis are quite often called chevrons but technically they are just zigzags. Confusing in't it? This mani was really stunning but the photos don't really do it justice :(.

It's been a busy week here but a really good one :). I'm looking forward to a weekend of relaxing and hopefully more gorgeous spring days. Hope you're Friday is great, Tx.

Spring Zigzag

I thought it would be fun to do a bright mani with black zigzags. I do like the final look but it was fiddly and the black kept running, so I had to re-do them. For my index I used Essie - Haute as Hello, middle finger is Essie - Bikini so Teeny, ring is Essie - First Timer and pinkie is Essie - Playdate. All are gorgeous fun spring colours that really pop on the nail. The formula was great on all but Haute as Hello, it was streaky and a pain to deal with. I do love zigzags/chevrons but I'm thinking the best way to do black is with the decals or Zoya Storm seems to work with less bleeding.

We've had a couple of gorgeous spring days which I just adore and I'm very ready for winter to be over. Have a fabulous Thursday, Tx

OPI In the Cable Car-pool Lane

Unfortunately I didn't take any great photos of this look, I've been busy today so had to leave taking photos until night time. Hence the photos were taken in my lightbox with artifical lighting. OPI In the Cable Car-pool Lane is simply stunning.It's a gorgeous deep berry red with a fantastic formula that applies like a creme but looks like a jelly. I used three coats and really didn't need to use top coat as the polish itself is just so glossy. It is from the Fall collection and is probably more a fall colour but I just love it. OPI seems to bring the deep reds out often, but this one is unique due to it's high gloss jelly like finish. I used my pinkie as an accent in a different colour, there is just something I like about making the pinkie different. I stamped with a Pueen plate and Konad black then had to add little black studs to complete the look. I love the look and already know that In the Car-pool Lane will be a polish I use regularly.
