Powder Perfect present - An Indie Extravaganza Volume One

I'm excited to show you today the first volume of An Indie Extravaganza. The brain child of Jacinta from Powder Perfect this extravaganza will include fifteen polishes in total from Australian Indie brands. Each volume will include five brands with a polish created as their 'signature' polish. I think it's a fabulous idea and the first volume doesn't disappoint.

This first volume will be on sale on Friday the 8th August at 7.00am AEST at Powder Perfect website. There are only 20 boxes in the first release with the possibility of more being released depending on their popularity. There is a set limit of only 100 of each polish ever being made. Each volume of 5 polishes is RRP $50 plus shipping as normal

Now onto the polishes :)

The first I have to share today is Majestic from Glam Polish. I'm not surprised to see a gorgeous deep purple from Glam Polish as I know Rachel loves purple. Majestic is a regal purple that shifts light beautifully with the glass flecks. I found the actual colour shift stronger in the bottle than on the nail but this is my favourite from this volume and is simply stunning how it is. Application was super easy and I am wearing two coats.

Majestic has rich eggplant base with shimmering glass flecks that shift from red/purple/gold/green & a hint of microglitter.

Our second brand is Moonstone Nail Polish who bring us Night Owl, a super vibrant bright blue crelly almost jelly glitter polish. I love the colour of Night Owl and the glitters compliment the base colour perfectly. The finish is squishy and gorgeous and it was opaque enough to only need two coats. The scent was a nice touch and definitely not too over powering.

Night Owl is a cobalt blue jelly with blue, pink and iridescent hex, holographic dust, lilac dots, and a subtle purple shimmer. It's also wildflower scented!

The next brand in this volume is Smudged with Scarlett a deep rich red jelly glitter bomb. I love that there is a touch of vampy red but the jelly is still transparent enough to let the glitter shine through. I needed no base colour with this polish and applied it easily in two dabbed coats. I love the glass squishy jelly finish and the depth created in the glitters of this polish.

Scarlett is a rich blood red jelly filled with both holographic and matte red, silver, and gold glitters. Delicious!

The fourth brand for Volume One is Bella Bella Nail Couture with #bellabelle. Silver and pink are the creator Victoria's favourite things and they shine through in this signature polish. It has a holo effect and the dusty pink is the perfect colour to showcase the silver. It's delicate and feminine without being over the top and I love that in a polish. The first coat was sheer but it built to opacity in three coats.

#bellabelle is a delicate pink holographic polish with silver dust throughout. The holographic effect is best seen under lights or sun.

Last but not least our fifth brand is Glittering Elements with Butterfly Garden. It's green so you already know I'm a fan :). The green is gorgeous and is darker and dustier than a mint green, I'd probably call it a light sage green or a pastel sage green if I can invent a name for a colour :).  This beauty has a creme base with holo throughout and tiny glass flecks that reflect light. This was also sheer in the first coat but built nicely in three thin coats.

Butterfly Garden is a soft green creme polish with a subtle holographic shimmer and various micro glass flecks. It reminds me of pretty butterflies landing on stems of grass covered in morning dew with the warm sun shining down.

I hope you've enjoyed this first volume don't forget to get yours on Friday from Powder Perfect
