Hello everyone. We've done weeks 5-7 in Crumpet's SIMPLES - Nail Art from Muggle to Mastery and we've been doing dots. I've really enjoyed doing the simples tasks set, though I've mucked up a couple of weeks, I just can't seem to remember to keep it simple.
Week 5 was evenly spaced dots, please ignore the rose decals as I meant to take a photo before them to show my simple dots. I used Zoya Dot in the below photo.
Week 6 was multi sized dots. I wore Cate Ruby Harriet and Zoya Raven.
Week 7 is multi coloured dots. I misread even spaced dots and did the below mani, bit I forgot simple again so now I have 2 to show for multi coloured week. This neon matte design
and this one using Powder Perfect Peeling Wallpaper, I Prefer my Grapes Pressed, Salut D'Amor and Aquitaine. I created an ombre type effect with the dots :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a variety of designs that can be achieved with the simple dot! It's interesting seeing the different techniques demonstrated and to understand the skill involved in getting it just right. I particularly like the multi-sized and purple ombre dot designs.
