International Nail Art Day

Why shouldn't nail art have it's very own day?!? Hopefully throughout the blogosphere and instagram there should be lots of nail art on display today. We all know we love nail art and it's great to see the nail community come together and celebrate what is a fun and a great creative outlet.

This skittlette features a couple of my staples, a nice glitter nail and a zig zag. For today's look I've paired them with Lilypad Lacquer's Lime neon. It's stunning and you can tell I must really love it as it has a VNL which I'm not a fan of but I'm still wearing it. The polish applied so beautifully and the colour is just gorgeous!

So put your thinking cap on and post a nail art design to share.

Happy Saturday, Tx

  2. I wanna know what the glitter is, where the little black gems come from and how you did the zig zags, not that I'm demanding :P

My look called "Rose Gold Sparkle" will be up on my blog tomorrow as its only 1.41am here in Ireland. My first ever nail post as I'm only trying out nail skills now!

    1. Hi Alison!! The glitter is Essie Beyond Cosy. The black gems are from eBay, they come in a wheel with other colours. I'll do a post on chevrons/zigzag soon, I have 3 or 4 different ways to do them, from super easy smoke and mirrors to harder ones. Thanks for visiting.

  4. This is great! How many coats of the lime neon did you do? I saw a blog entry recently that showed how to minimise VNL and it was by putting a sheer skin toned polish on first :)
