Easter Nails

I love this time between collections when I get to do some nail art :). You know I adore pastels and I love that while it's Autumn here Easter gives me a good reason to wear them. In today's look I'm using my own Grace-full's Anne and Emma with simple dots and stripes.

Hope wherever you are your weekend is going great! Tx

Grace-full Nail Polish - Peacock collection

Time for a new collection, I’m excited about this one as I just adore Peacock colours so drumroll ….meet The Peacock collection. Each polish is named with a lyric from Katy Perry’s Peacock song. There are 8 glitters and 5 cremes.

This collection will be released tonight at 7pm at Grace-full Nail Polish store.

Rainbow Looking - a deep blurple base jelly with small glitters in bright gold, teal, evergreen, aqua, turquoise, purple, sapphire, lime green, emerald and navy

Mister Mystery – a purple shimmer with micro flakies in hot pink, blue and violet

Walk the Walk – glitter bombshell with a deep blue base, glitter in green, aqua, bright blue, silver, emerald, sapphire and purple in dots, hexes and triangle shapes

Head Turnin’ – Emerald metallic fine glitter in a deep green base with a sprinkle of lime/gold super holographic glitter. The metallic polishes can leave a jagged edge, they don’t clean up neatly so can be used with a base colour if you like a crisp edge.

Ground Shakin’ – I’m biased as I love this one, it took awhile to source it but I found the perfect to me teal holo glitter. It has a light teal jelly base and three sizes of teal glitter

Body Shockin’ – Kelly green base with micro super holographic lime/gold glitter

Heart Throbbin’ –I love how this glitter is aqua but with a green shimmer throughout, it’s a fine glitter with an aqua jelly base.

Show Stoppin’ – a metallic sapphire glitter of different sizes in a blue jelly base. The metallic polishes can leave a jagged edge, they don’t clean up neatly so can be used with a base colour if you like a crisp edge.

The Cremes

Worth the Waiting – a deep teal crème

Shed a Tear – a mid mint-jade green crème

Jaw Droppin’ – bright blue crème

Amazin’ – a colour that can’t quite decide what it wants to be and I love it :). It can look like a dark periwinkle then in a different light a slate blue, change lighting again and it’s deep lilac. f I had to narrow it down I'd say it's a deep periwinkle/lilac

Eye Poppin’ – a deep purple crème, this one is thin but had to be to get the darkness, use very thin coats as the colour will build up

Orly Sugar High collection

I have four polishes from the Sugar High collection to share with you today. The first is this pretty deep lilac called Candy Shop. Application was easy and I am wearing two thin coats.

Number 2 is Cake Pop. I really like this one and it's my favourite of the four. It's the lightest light pink and I don't have anything like it in my collection. It's very unusual for me to not have a similar polish and this is a great polish for when you want a lighter look but don't want the starkness of white. This polish took 3 careful coats to apply.

Keylime Twist is the third and I think it's the perfect name. It's a very neon yellow with a touch of green and while I do like it, it doesn't really fit into this collection for me. Application was tricky as a lot of neons are and I am wearing 3 thin coats.

Lastly we have Frosting. I'm usually not a fan of shimmery whites but I like this one. The shimmer is gold and adds an extra pop to an off white polish. I am wearing 3 thin coats.

This colection is available now in Australia with an RRP of AU$18.95 each.  They are available from Orly Beauty and leading pharmacies nationwide.

These polishes were sent to me for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Please note computer monitors may vary in colour display.

Water MArble with Dreamy Beach Pastels

I've been watching the lovely water marbles that you have all been creating with the pastels. I have never had a successful attempt at a water marble but all those gorgeous photos made me have another go. It's far from perfect but this is the closest I've ever gotten to having a semi decent water marble. The pastel polishes work incredibly well for water marbling and all the problems I usually have didn't happen!! So if you have never made a great water marble try with these pastels! I used Anne, Jacinta and Maddison.

Sorry I haven't been around much but I've been working on a new collection. I love creating but do miss my nail art time. Hopefully I'll eventually find the balance between the two :)

Have a great week
