Illamasqua - Speckle

Today I'm having to reach into the archives to find a polish I haven't posted yet. I did a gorgeous mani but the ever so cute puppy is teething and scraped most of the polish off on one finger. Good thing I love him. This is Speckle by Illamasqua and the colour is gorgeous. I've tried some Hard Candy speckle type polishes and they are ver pretty too but this one was just that little bit easier to apply as you'd expect from a higher class brand. I know people are divided over the new speckle look but I quite like it, it's something a little different and every now and then you need a polish that is a more subtle glitter bomb.

These photos make me miss my longer nails, but they'll grow again. I also really miss nail art but I'm lucky at the moment to get polish on and not bitten that I just don't have time for nail art. Like my nails though the puppy will grow too - thank god lol.

Well I can say TGIF, I need a weekend! Hope you all enjoy your day x

Zoya - Zang Toi Chinoiserie Fantasy

Wow this polish just blows me away! It's a big call for me as I love all greens but I think this might be the best green nail polish I've ever seen. It's such a gorgeous, rich and regal green that I simply adore it. Chinoiserie Fantasy is by Zoya and as expected it has a superb formula with no problems with application  I am wearing two coats with HK girl top coat. The colour just grabs you from every angle and is shiny and gorgeous. It is a polish from Fashion week but rumour has it that Zoya may release it and the purple Imperial Russia along with a sapphire blue for their fall collection. I hope it's true as I need the sapphire blue and everyone needs a chance to own this beauty.

Have a great Wednesday!

Picture Polish - Kryptonite

Welcome to my now much shorter nails :(. No not a breakage I deliberately did that to myself as I didn't want to jab the puppy with my long ones. I love the length they were at before but when you have a square shape a jab isn't pleasant - just ask my boys :). So I know they will grow again and probably at the same pace Mr Cuteness is growing.

So onto the most gorgeous polish! This is Kryptonite designed by the ever wonderful Cathy at More Nail Polish. These photos are actually taken on day 3 of wearing it and as you can see it's still perfect, no chips, no wear! I rarely leave polish on long enough to find out the amount of wear they take but I am impressed with this one. The gorgeous forest green is full of gorgeous sparkles that show the best in the second photo below when it is directly under artificial light. It is a gorgeous shade and applied beautifully, this is also just two coats and the depth of the polish is amazing :)

Enjoy your Tuesday!

Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Jadefire

Today I have a review of a gorgeous polish by the fabulous Femme Fatale Cosmetics. If you've never tried one of their polishes you really must! They are so unique, well made and always make your nails a talking point. I really love Jadefire, it is completely unique to anything else I own! The fabulous chartreuse green shimmery base is a winner and the mix of red, pink, holo lime green and hints of yellow glitter accentuate the base colour. As I was applying this I was looking out the window to our wall of ivy that has changed colour and started to lose it leaves. The colours in the autumn leaves really are reflected in this polish making it the perfect polish to wear right now! As always this polish was a dream to apply, there was no digging for glitter and drying time was excellent. I am wearing two coats over a base colour of Models Prefer in a chartreuse green. I especially love the lime green holo hex glitter in Jadefire, it's nothing I've seen before, it's just so pretty!

The amazing Femme Fatale Cosmetics Jadefire polish can be purchased  through their website Femme Fatale Cosmetics. Jadefire is priced at RRP $9.85. Toya Jade - Princess Paige and Josie

Today I have another couple of Toya Jade polish to share with you, this is Princess Paige and it is a truly gorgeous purple with pink flecks throughout. This is such a beautiful colour and unique to my polish stash. The application was brilliant, smooth and quick to dry. I just love the uniqueness of this colour!

The second polish is a glitter topper named Josie. I really love this one as it has pastel glitters and it isn't glitter overloaded so you can have nice thin layers. Below photos show two coats over Princess Paige. This polish also simple and easy to apply with a quick dry time. I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of this polish because as much as I love glitter I really love a subtle hint of glitter over a gorgeous polish.

Toya-Jade polishes are available from their etsy store, and cost $5.50 for an 8ml mini bottle. You can also follow them on Facebook.

Cirque - Book of Shadows available at Femme Fatale Cosmestics

I'm such a huge fan of Cirque, they make gorgeous high quality products. Book of Shadows is a beautiful silver with a hint of lavender in a foil finish. Book of Shadow's applies beautifully, the Cirque brush is one of my favourites and I used 3 coats here. Each coat dried quickly and the finish is brush stroke free. It is so sparkly and one of those polishes that leaves you constantly staring at your nails. I love that Cirque has sage and lavender oils added to the formula as it gives it a gorgeous scent.

Cirque nail lacquer is 3-Free, which means it does not contain toluene, formaldehyde and dibutyl phthalate (DBP). Each bottle holds .45 oz / 13.2 ml of product and contains high quality essential oils, such as lavender and clary sage, to lend your hands a subtle scent after the polish dries.  All our products are are hand-mixed in small batches and hand-poured individually.  Slight variances may occur and are a natural part of the handmade process.

Yes another chevron :)

So I have a bit of a thing for chevrons at the moment. There's just something fun and funky about them :)

For this look my index and pinkie are butter London The Black Knight
middle finger is butter London Union Jack Black
Ring is Zoya Purity and awesome chevron decals I told you about before. They are so easy! So much better than painting the perfect design and top coat smudging it :)

Have a fabulous Tuesday!

Mint Green Chevron

Yay finally back to some nail art, I've missed it. I do adore Mint green but why does it have to give me lobster hands? Sigh - still it's one of those loves you love so much you still do it lobster hands and all :)

I used Models Own Apple Pie (so they even smell yummy) and Peita's Polish Ace Aqua which she custom made for me for the glitter. I really love this look but why wasn't I born with skin that loves Mint Green as much as I do :(

Have a fabulous Sunday and look below to meet our new family member Spencer :) 6 days until we can bring him home, not that we're counting or anything ;)

Never a replacement but a new love.

How cute is he?????

EmilydeMolly - Blueprint

If you haven't guessed by now I'm a huge EmilydeMolly fan and this polish is simply stunning! Named Blueprint it has both blue and purple glitter in a blue base that has a purple shimmer. It kind of has the same effect as butter London Scouse but in a darker shade of blue. It glows on your fingertips and has the gorgeous colour shift. This is 3 coats and as always is a beautiful easy to apply formula.

I'm in love with this one!

Check back later today for a giveaway :)
